Replace the original 512 MB of ram with this 2 GB in a Windows XP computer. Simple and straight forward upgrade. Differently a much needed fix to get this old eMachine working better than it had been. Corsair has a memory supplier with for awhile now and have not experienced any problems yet. A very good buy.
