5 out of 5 eggsSolid DDR2

Pros: It lasted me ~7 Years before falling slowly. Bought a replacement that would have boosted my 7yo computer back to new.

Cons: A bit expensive and obsolete.

Other Thoughts: Don't put ram in backwards, you will fry your motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggs1 pair went bad after 6 years

Pros: It lasted 6 years with no problems. Then I started getting the BSOD. Memtest showed the RAM in bank 1 was bad. RMA'd to Corsair, and since they didn't have a matching set to replace it with, they upgraded me to a 4gb set. 2 sticks of 2gb, I was happy with Corsairs service. And would buy from them again.
Getting twice the memory back is a pretty cool thing.

Cons: Needed a receipt for the RMA. Thankfully Newegg keeps records going back that far. I printed it off and sent it in with the memory and Corsair was pretty quick to replace it. It was cool that they had to send me an upgrade, since my product was out of production. The new memory they are sending has the same timings as the 2gb set I'm left with, so they should work together. Windows 7 is terribly slow with only 2gb RAM
Process took maybe a week at the most once Corsair received everything they needed.

Other Thoughts: Corsairs customer service was very prompt and kept me informed on what was happening. They worked with me very well, and didn't try to give me the run around. They got the needed documents and the bad memory, and then issued the replacement part in a timely manner.

4 out of 5 eggsDell demention 5100 upgrade

Pros: upgraded from 1 gb to 4 gb have not tested to see if i can get the full 4 GB with 2 of these kits installed but it shows 3.5 gb useable in in lubuntu 13.10

Cons: not really a big deal as long as it keeps going but the timming does change to 4-4-4-12 and not 5-5-5-18 i suspect thats because of the voltage is probably locked by default by dell

4 out of 5 eggsGood Warranty

Pros: Corsair Memory DDR2 lasted 3 years and they stood behind the warranty and were quick to replace it but watch the web forms you fill out as mine went to the wrong dept. and I had to call but the customer service was great and very helpful so in less 30 days I have my new replacement and it would have been sooner but for their confusing web page makes and models offered do not quite match all their products!

Cons: Web Master or page designer needs to update the kinds of products so you can match your product Make, serial, and model correctly!

Other Thoughts: Am pleased due to a very courteous man in their customer service department that went out of his way to fix my problem!
