Bad buy
- Pros: Ran at advertised settings with no hiccups....
- Cons: After about 9 months computer started locking up at the boot screen. After resetting the cmos and moving the sticks around and using a spare 512mb stick i found out that both sticks were bad. I returned them to mushkin hoping for an easy exchange now I'm being told they were discontinued and they can offer me other sets that are much cheaper than what i paid if i spend another 50 bucks.. Dont buy this ram.. I wish i would have looked into it more when i built my computer...
try this for BSOD's
- Pros: WOW, I have the DDR2 800 HP6400 4-5-4-11 w/ EPP, by Mushkin. Which is like the little brother compaired to this. I run 4gig and get the BSOD (blue screen of death). I had to bump up the mhz from 800 to 900 you could probably go less (850) and set the timings to auto let the PC boot if BSOD happens again wait and if not rebooting by itsself then manualy shut down and let it boot on its own (dont change any thing) after several attemps then try another mhz, remember to leave the timings on auto
- Cons: I dont have it in my PC
- Other Thoughts: Vista Users will usually be the ones to have this problem, some mobos will not boot with 4gig pluged in, remove one, then try, after you find your median clocksettings, shutdown, unplug, and install 4th gig. If no boot try again. Pateince is the key

Manufacturer Response:Sorry about the issues. Please visit our forums for help with memory timings and settings. Some boards will be able to run 4 sticks at rated speeds with adjustments to the bios. Thank you

All mushy for Mushkin
- Pros: I have this running at 4-4-4-11 at 1006Mhz and it has been perfectly stable for more than a month now. Very happy customer.
- Cons: None so far
- Other Thoughts: I have not tried to push the speed higher since I don't want to press my luck and have lived through too many dead memory modules.
