BE CAREFUL
- Pros: After installing these today, everything was recognized properly. No bad sticks. The heatsink spreader was silver, not green, which was a nice, attractive touch.
- Cons: When you are installing these, do not push down from the top! The heatsinks for these things attach very awkwardly at the top and force on it causes them to "unsnap". I recommend applying force at the very side edges of the modules.
- Other Thoughts: Installation was tricky. The heatspreader clips together at the top so applying force to insert module like you normally would can break the heatsink (mine came detached)! Please be careful!
Great RAM
- Pros: Good price, quality RAM. Put it in a ABIT AM2 MB (KN9S) and it worked flawlessly. Beautiful heat spreader package.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: The OCZ S.O.E. RAM I initially bought had one stick DOA. After reading of the problems with AM2 boards and OCZ PC26400 memory, I'm glad I ended up with the Mushkin.
