Crucial 2GB For Vista
- Pros: great sticks, name brand, 2GB, REALLY cheap price, and REALLY good overclocker's, made a big difference in vista coming from 1GB. my sticks are currently running on defult speed, 5-5-5-15 @ 325 MHz (DDR2 667), was able to overclock them to to 365 MHz = (DDR2 750), pretty sure they can reach 400MHz (DDR2 800) easy, but cant on my motherboard it sucks.
- Cons: the only con i can think of is that, the sticks dont come with heat spreaders.
- Other Thoughts: here are some more specs of the sticks that are not on the specification area, DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64 •
Overpay for Rebranded Samsung
- Pros: works fine with my intel dual core, no hangup issues
- Cons: this is simply rebranded Samsung Ram. Newegg doesn't carry Samsung, so I went with this "trusted" brand instead to stay with Newegg. right out of the box the Crucial stickers are over Samsung stickers. they don't even take them off. Could have gotten elsewhere, cheaper.
- Other Thoughts: would be perfect ram if it was actually made by crucial

Easy!
- Pros: Very easy installation - worked first time. They have never complained.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I am generally technically saavy but I dont usually tinker with hardware. I've never built a computer, never upgraded my RAM before. These went right into my motherboard and worked on the first try. It couldn't have been easier unless they bought themselves.
Great Upgrade for the Price
- Pros: Worked with no Problem in a Dell Dimension E410. Great Price.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Increased Ram from 512MB to 2 GB. Helped performance. Removed existing 512 MB of Ram as it was actually slower Ram.
Crucial 2GB for GA-M59SLI-S5
- Pros: Performance to price ration is quite high.
- Cons: DIMMs voltage requirements are slightly higher than normal on my motherboard. Had to set BIOS MB Intelligent Tweeker - DDR2 OverVoltage Control to 0.1V in order for the memory to work in Dual Channel Memory mode. This is a minor problem & perhaps unique to my motherboard. If you run into a problem getting these DIMMs to work in Dual Channel Memory mode, you might try adjusting the DDR2 voltage in BIOS.
- Other Thoughts: Tracking delivery status through DHL/USPS is difficult, if not impossible, due to their infrequent updating of the information. Items get delivered OK, but if you need to be at the point of delivery in order to make certain YOU get the package (instead of one of your neighbors), not knowing when it will be delivered can cause a problem.
UPS or FED EX were much better.
