Pros: Crucial has done well for me, this memory however has gone above the bar, runs stable and super fast

Other Thoughts: runs great with my amd64 x2 6000 and asus m2n deluxe board

Pros: Good looking; well constructed; arrived quickly; Tech support was readily available.

Cons: I tried running 4 GB (four 1 GB sticks)of Ballistics 8000 on two different boards. Neither could see them. I called Crucial and they blamed the boards. The Board manufactures blamed Crucial and timing. I returned the memory to Newegg for some Corsair.

Other Thoughts: If you're trying to run 4 or more GB of RAM, you may be in for a surprise, if your running a Microsoft 32 bit operating systems.

Pros: This ram is pretty expensive but was well worth the money, it overclocks very well and really is nice.

Cons: I had to RMA my first set but I went a little to far on the OC and that is what affected that.

Other Thoughts: Well worth the money!

Pros: Excellent memory. Initial boot at 1000MHz 5-5-5-15 2T timings, 2.0V stable. Tightened timings to 4-4-4-12 2T @2.0V also stable.

Cons: Modules recognized as PC2-6400, needed to be manually set, but not really a problem for me. Orange heat spreaders are ugly IMO, but that can be changed easily.

Other Thoughts: If I had the cash I would buy a second set now!

Pros: Real world performance difference between DDR2 800 and DDR2 1000 or above is negligible. But when you can get performance memory for this price, you go for it. This is excellent memory!

As others said, it clocks above 1000, or handles tighter than specified timings. I bought 4GB of this stuff for Vista 64 and it's running flawlessly. Micron's best IC's, distributed by Crucial. Plain and simple...

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Ballistix is killer stuff. I've had a half dozen memory configs using it and they all ran perfectly!

Pros: I was kinda worried on getting this memory because it wasn't in the QVL for my board. It's 800Mhz version was however and ran in Dual Channel all slots so I gambled with this set since it was cheaper and faster. And with previous stated settings of 4-4-4-12 I have been running perfect! In fact it seems to have taken some stress off my CPU as it sometimes is cooler than the motherboard when idle!

I'll be ready for the quad core when I can afford it.

Cons: It's about as hot as the NB and SB chipsets on the mainboard. Not enough to burn you, but enough to make you feel uneasy. I'd guess 130-135. If I get another set, I'll be buying that memory fan I've seen around to help cool these things.

Other Thoughts: The rebate was a bit confusing with the whole UPC. There was one on the box and one on each static bag. The rebate instructions didn't clearly state which one it really wanted, so I threw in all three.

Pros: Very nice looking heat spreaders, the pictures do it no justice! This ram is very fast, and it has sli tuning capablity!

Cons: Must enable sli in bios, and manually set timings, voltages, and speed. This is normal on just about any high performance ram.

Other Thoughts: If you are using the asus board, be sure to enable the sli. I got thousands of errors without it, if you set it to expert you can still adjust all the other overclock settings yourself. My specs: E6300 overclocked to 3.08 @1.44 volts, 4 gigs of this ram, P5n32e motherboard, 7900gs vid card.

Pros: I totally agree. I have a 680i and originally had Cxxxair 6400C4D. They did exactly as advertised, however they did not overclock well at all. I was even getting error messages at attempts on underclocking them while drastically trying to increase my fsb. Then I come to find out that these chips are Promos, not Microns; boy did I feel ripped off after paying $xxx for this memory. Well thanks to a well known auction site, they're gone now and I'm the proud owner of these Crucial sticks, which I paid half the price for.

Cons: None, None, None....enough said!!!

Other Thoughts: Don't get fooled by brand name companies who try to sell you their image and reputation, instead of doing what they did to get that reputation; sell quality products at a reasonable price. Hint, Hint.....I hope some of those product reps are reading this!!!!!

Pros: These are Micron's highest binned modules. This is the fastest ram available except for rare Hynix IC modules. These typically overclock to 1200 and far above, maintain tight latencies, and tolerate voltages up to 2.6! Crucial's service makes Corsair look lackadaisical.

Cons: I don't like orange, but the black tracers models can fix that.

Other Thoughts: Don't pay twice as much for the exact same thing! These are the EXACT same chips used in the most expensive Corsair modules! I'm serious, BUY THESE QUICK while they're this cheap! Don't be an ignorant consumer that falls for gimmicks!

Pros: Stable, posts @ 5-5-5-15-2T as it should (2.2 volts). The DIMMS look pretty good too. Lifetime warranty.

Cons: Price. There are cheaper micron D9 based DIMMS available.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy these again.
