I am pleased with this memory kit. This memory is compatible with the notoriously finicky DG965WH/DG965OT motherboards. ...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Cheap and fit my specs

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was a little weary about this brand but it turned out to be great RAM. The sticks are still good after 3 years so I'm pretty pleased!

5 out of 5 eggsTwo extra gigs for an 3 year old machine.

Pros: I popped these babies in with two other 1gb stick of the same model number. No issue what-so-ever!

Cons: They had somehow been shuffled around the plastic packaging. Luckily, the seem to have survived their first class trip to me.

Other Thoughts: I already had two other Muchkin (model 996529) in my machine for 3 years, using a water cooling and air cooling set-ups. They never failed, so I don't expect these to, that's why they get 5-eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsNice RAM

Pros: Works

Cons: Didn't work right until I fixed the timings

Other Thoughts: I bought this specifically for my HTPC. The same HTPC that kept blue screening me like crazy until I read the front page comment regarding the proper timing.

If I hadn't read that in the comments area, I would have rma'ed.

Now the ram's working great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap and gets the job done. Perfect for budget builds.

Cons: No heatsink but such a low voltage may not be necessary.

Other Thoughts: Packaging was weak. When it arrived one of the mem sticks had popped out of its place and was poking out. Got lucky without any damage.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked fine, questionable SPD

Pros: System started right up. No memory errors so far.

Cons: RAM is rated per the sticker on the stick at 5-5-5-12 but the BIOS reads the SPD as 5-5-5-18. Nothing a change in the BIOS can't fix, but it does make me wonder.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: Great deal. Easy to install. What else is there to say?

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: If you are running 32 bit version of Vista there is a max on how much ram your os will recognize. That number is around 3.76GB so dont go trigger happy with buying too much memory.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking great

Pros: I've had pretty good luck with Mushkin so far, & once again they haven't let me down.

Cons: The RAM timings aren't amazing or anything...If this was for my own system I would have opted for Mushkin's higher-end RAM modules which have far better RAM timings. But that's OK since I got these for a client's office desktops.

Other Thoughts: No problems getting them working in a Dell Vostro 200.

Warning: I could only get one stick working in a Dell Dimension C521. This isn't Mushkin's fault since the sticks themselves are fine & that Dell C521 is picky with other RAM sticks too.
