3 out of 5 eggsBad memory kits twice

Pros: Pretty easy fast rma by newegg and mushkin

Cons: Took 3 different kits before I got a set that worked. First set gave me errors as soon as I started loading win 7 and both sticks had errors in memtest. Returned to newegg for a new set that passed memtest and ran fine for about three months then ended up going bad and cost me many hours of work after win became unstable. Had to rma thru mushkin this time but was a pretty painless 2-3 week process

Other Thoughts: I won't be purchasing any more mushink memory haven't had any issues with g.skill/patriot/corsair

5 out of 5 eggsgood ram

Pros: works great, passed memtest, cute little heatsink, great price

Cons: packaging beat to isht. no complaint otherwise

Other Thoughts: used on a mediocre intel itx 775 board(what intel board isn't after all) so i never got to see its potential to overclock, but runs rock solid underclocked

5 out of 5 eggscompatible with my picky mobo

Pros: works great with my asus p5e3 deluxe motherboard. this mobo has given me so many issues with compatability. Mushkin was the answer. Worked great from the get go. Bought another 4gig pair of these, and still works flawlessly, absolutley no errors or bootup issues in over a year...as it should be

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've always hear how Mushkin makes great memory. I am now a Mushkin believer, and would highly recommend.

2 out of 5 eggs1 Stick dead

Pros: They look pretty, and I kept 6gigs out of 8.

Cons: Bought 2 of these and out of 4 sticks 1 was dead. I was pretty mad but it would cost me more to ship back than the sticks are worth.

Other Thoughts: Bad apples happen.

Pros: I'm a pretty straightforward guy... it worked and that's what I was looking for in RAM.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Looks nice.

4 out of 5 eggsGood memory, but...

Pros: Good memory. It's stable, has nice heat spreaders, and is a great deal. I've had this RAM for around 2 years (bought it when DDR3 started becoming more popular), and just recently bought a second kit.

Cons: They've changed the chips on these memory modules over the past couple of years, but they don't tell you this anywhere (until after you buy it). The new kit I ordered is incompatible with my LGA775 motherboard (my computer won't even post with this RAM installed), even though it's the EXACT same kit I have installed right now. -1 Egg.

Other Thoughts: Even though this memory should work flawlessly with my motherboard, as does my current 996585 kit, it doesn't. I'm now expected to pay $20+ for shipping back to Mushkin for RMA... I'm essentially paying twice for the memory that should have worked out of the box. I'm very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM!

Pros: Great price. Dropped right in alongside two 2gb sticks of Corsair RAM (Item #: N82E16820145251) with identical speed, timing, and voltage - recognized immediately. Works great. Looks great - was a bit worried that the heatsinks might be cheap and tinny, but they are great! $20 (after rebate) for 4gb of ddr3 1333mhz...... Can't be beat. Almost forgot...free shipping!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend Mushkin to anyone looking for good ram at a reasonable price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works without any issues. Understated and sleek silver heatspreaders are preferable over the monstrous G.Skill RipJaws and other robotic looking memory.

Cons: I wish it was free. :)

Other Thoughts: Great memory for the price. I would buy Mushkin again.

5 out of 5 eggssilvery

Pros: Price. Nice heat spreaders. It works I thought about taking the memory in my computer and tradeing it for the new one I just built. But I have red case fans, so the red heat spreaders on mine work better.

Cons: I didnt see this when I got my G Skill memory with the red heat spreaders.

Other Thoughts: I might still get 8 gigs for my computer.
