I think is just the way mac operates. Other Thoughts: Never have any problems. I have 16 gigs installed plus the 1 gig that came with my mac and this thing runs perfectly and quick. Manufacturer Response: Greetings, The Mac Pro does tend to operate on the warm side. However, the heat spreaders on these modules combined with the active cooling in the Mac Pro should suffice. Cons: - None Other Thoughts: Works just fine. Actually I have a mix of this, stock 512MB (only 2 left!), and iRam 2GB Modules, for a total of 17GB.. No issues at all. I usually have Kinemac, Entourage, Photoshop and iTunes running almost all the time. Memory temps run ~ 100F with fans running between 500 - 600 RPM.
