5 out of 5 eggsI <3 Mushkin

Pros: Running just fine at stock settings. No problems whatsoever.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I loves me some Mushkin. Been a fan boy since their awesome pc150 sticks back in the 90s. Got this as a replacement for an old crucial stick in a parents computer that blew out.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's RAM

Pros: Cheap (for DDR2), speedy, looks nice, works well in my overclocked system.

Cons: DDR2 RAM is going away, and the prices are going up.

1 out of 5 eggsdid not ship what I ordered

Pros: none

Cons: they shipped notebook memory instead of desktop memory. Customer service chat was like talking to the commercial character "Peggy". I needed this memory quick, they did ship the wrong memory in three days, now I must ship it back wait 3 to 5 days to get credit then they would have shipped a replacement. Have been a newegg customer for some time now was taken back by lack of customer service.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat else do you need?

Pros: Great price, nice to work with, not chintzy at all. Bought for an atom motherboard and it is exactly what I needed. It is not the biggest or the fastest but it still gets me where I wanta go as Jan and Dean said.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: If I had an i7 of course I would buy different memory. Why buy more when the cheap seats are good enough

5 out of 5 eggsa-okay memory

Pros: Worked right out of the box. No heat spreader. The price is right.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Bought one stick to replace a failed GSk**l one. Had had timings set to 4-4-4-12 before installing it. It took to it like a duck to water.
Have always thought that heat spreaders were more hype than the real thing. If just one IC doesn't have a good contact with a heat spreader, it'll overheat and take the stick down with it. All the failed ones in my rig in the last couple of years (about three of them) had heat spreaders on them. As I see it, memory with no heat spreaders and a fan blowing over the modules (as in my setup) will do better. Let's see if this concept is right.
