Awesome RAM
- Pros: Runs 100% stable at stock settings after I set it to advertised timings, works very well at both 1333Mhz and 1600Mhz
- Cons: Havent been able o overclock, although my exp is null so im sure its just me lol
- Other Thoughts: Very sturdy though, I will buy Mushkin and my gf's new build will be mushkin as well
Unstable & wont overclock
- Pros: great ratings, works at set settings (or so i thought) heat spreaders are attractive and effective.
- Cons: unstable. I was getting a blue screen crash once every 2 days or so with about 8 hours of use each day. i figured it was a driver problem since it was so rare. last night i ram memtest+ for 8 hours just to see if there was anything wrong, sure enough in 8 hours there was one lonely error. but apparently that one error is enough to crash my computer.
also, doesnt overclock AT ALL. i couldnt make these run even 1/2 stable at anything over 1600 Mhz even when i loosend the timings to 9-9-9! all i wanted was a 44Mz OC (+6 fsb so i could get my cpu to 4GHZ without raising multiplier). is that really so much to ask at this point in price?
- Other Thoughts: id prefer to RMA with newegg since they rule but since the problem wasn't all the time it took me a while to track it down. im gonna try mushkin support, and see what they will do for me.

- Pros: I recently bought another one of these kits to bring my new 64 bit Windows machine to 8 gigs. I am very satisfied with both sets. Both are stable at fast speed, take heat very well, and have given me no trouble.
- Cons: Though they seem to handle heat well, they themselves get very hot. The heat spreaders can make for a tight fit. They're also fairly expensive. I had to set speed and timing manually, which isn't a big deal if you know what you're doing.
- Other Thoughts: Some AM3 boards/AMD CPUs seem to have problems running stable with 1600mhz RAM. MY system constantly froze at that setting, but running at 1333mhz I am able to loosen the tmings to 6-6-6-18 with no problems. I can't take a point away for something not Mushkin's fault.
