Fastest consumer level SSD on the market
This review is from: SAMSUNG XP941 Series MZHPU512HCGL-00000 M.2 512GB PCIe Gen2 5Gb/s up to 4 lanes MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: The first drive not bottlenecked by it's interface in years. The 2GB/sec the pci-e x4 lanes give provide enough bandwidth to let this ssd fully stretch it's legs. Easily hits 1.4GB/sec.
Cons: There are always some cons as well nothing in this world is perfect. The price for this ssd isn't the greatest. Nowadays anything over 1 dollar per mg is a very premium price for a consumer home use ssd. You can easily find high performing 512GB SSD's in the 50 cents per GB range.
Other Thoughts: I hope samsung increases the availability and marketing of the pcie-3.0 successor to this drive
