5 out of 5 eggsGood replacement RAM for upgrade

Pros: - RAM speed
- Good price for DDR2 at the time of purchase

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I purchased this RAM dual channel kit for a client, who was wanting to upgrade their RAM. This was a great purchase at the time and was priced great for DDR2 RAM. The client was pleased with the laptop afterwards.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: BIOS recognized the RAM speed on boot.
The DIMMs slipped right into their slots.
They don't make any squealing noised like some other RAM.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I installed these in a friends laptop.
I forgot to get the model number, but it was an ASUS from 2006-2007.

5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM for the price

Pros: I used this RAM to upgrade an old Windows Vista laptop I had lying around. It doubled the memory and is still running strong after two years. I highly recommended this RAM for giving older machines new life.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsQuick & Painless

Pros: Quickly installed, and the difference from the default RAM on my wife's HP laptop was astronomical. She stopped using her tablet immediately after her laptop could finally function normal again. The main problem was that HP installed only 1 GIG of RAM on a laptop with Windows Vista, which really requires 2 for optimal performance. Saved me the hassle of reinstalling a new OS on it!

Cons: Didn't have a winning lottery ticket included.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent upgrade

Pros: Didn't require me to mix and match different RAM
Great upgrade offer for the price
Quick and easy to get my system up and running with the new RAM without any hassle.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: After using my laptop to stream a football game to my 42 inch TV, a friend asked me about my laptops specs. I run on an Inspiron E1505 that had about 256 MB for RAM. After being amazed it was even able to stream the video that smoothly, he suggested I upgrade. After trying to mix and match RAM (without much luck) he sent me to Newegg. This was my first purchase and I couldn't be happier. I'm not purchasing an SSD and searching other electronics throughout the store. I highly recommend this to be your initial upgrade if your system is running such a low amount of RAM. Newegg has been tremendous!

4 out of 5 eggsNot as fast as I thought...

Pros: Definitely better than the stock memory in my Gateway laptop, it now surfs the internet with relative ease even with multiple tabs open. It can even play flash games(sorta), now!

Cons: While it's much better than it was, don't expect this memory to make everything butter-smooth. Even thought this is probably the best memory you can get, remember that it's still DDR2 and so won't be very fast.
