5 out of 5 eggsQuick & Painless

Pros: Quickly installed, and the difference from the default RAM on my wife's HP laptop was astronomical. She stopped using her tablet immediately after her laptop could finally function normal again. The main problem was that HP installed only 1 GIG of RAM on a laptop with Windows Vista, which really requires 2 for optimal performance. Saved me the hassle of reinstalling a new OS on it!

Cons: Didn't have a winning lottery ticket included.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent upgrade

Pros: Didn't require me to mix and match different RAM
Great upgrade offer for the price
Quick and easy to get my system up and running with the new RAM without any hassle.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: After using my laptop to stream a football game to my 42 inch TV, a friend asked me about my laptops specs. I run on an Inspiron E1505 that had about 256 MB for RAM. After being amazed it was even able to stream the video that smoothly, he suggested I upgrade. After trying to mix and match RAM (without much luck) he sent me to Newegg. This was my first purchase and I couldn't be happier. I'm not purchasing an SSD and searching other electronics throughout the store. I highly recommend this to be your initial upgrade if your system is running such a low amount of RAM. Newegg has been tremendous!

4 out of 5 eggsNot as fast as I thought...

Pros: Definitely better than the stock memory in my Gateway laptop, it now surfs the internet with relative ease even with multiple tabs open. It can even play flash games(sorta), now!

Cons: While it's much better than it was, don't expect this memory to make everything butter-smooth. Even thought this is probably the best memory you can get, remember that it's still DDR2 and so won't be very fast.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This was just click and go. Increased my ratings and overall performance by a HUGE margin. Easy install. Took a total of 2 minutes maybe. Absolutely worth the 30 bucks!

Cons: None Yet

Other Thoughts: Remember gentle pressure is best when installing Ram.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Got here fast, no fuss and installed it right away. It just booted fine and shows the 2 GB available. I love this laptop but age shows... adding memory gave it a chance to last a little more. For 45$, really worth it.

Cons: Nothing to report. First newegg order, not the last for sure.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you select the proper memory as you would be dispointed if you don't.

5 out of 5 eggsUsed for upgrade of older model HP

Pros: Used the ram to upgrade a 4 yr old laptop running XP, replacing two 512mb so-dimms. Detected by OS and was running immediately without issues.

Cons: No problems as far as could be determined

Other Thoughts: When upgrading ram, always double check to make sure that you have the right specs.
