Great... but

Pros: Looks good, works as advertised but...

I bought the bundle pack 2gigs x 1 stick a gig for 75$ a while back when this ram was top dog.

Cons: One stick died after roughly 7 months of use.

Went to RMA the stick I didn't get it to crucial inc. I went away for (AIT) i still have the dead stick and am home for another week. see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this ram to anyone looking for fast quality ram. I think i just got a lemon, it happens.

I can't quite blame Crucial i leave my computer on just about 24\7 and my quad core (AMD) heat sink blows nice 130F air right on the memory heat sinks.. why they don't have the fan blowing away from the mobo instead of basking it in the processors heat i have no idea.

No Problems Here

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: 4 - 1gig sticks in a Diamond P7N motherboard with a Kentfield Quad 4 2.4Ghz. Running 2.96 with 1070 ram speed for over a year now with no issues. 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V
Needs the full 2.1 volts. This thing couldn't run any better.
Looks cool in a window case.

Cons: I wish Crucial made the "1066 Tracers" in 2Gig sticks - I would order 4 today.

Other Thoughts: I've had the provesses to 3.3 and the ram to 1085 but I got into the 50's C on heat. At 2.96 & 1070 I can keep
normal use in the 38 to 44 C range.

Pros: Runs stable at the stock Voltage and Timing.

Lots of pretty blinkinlitez (LEDs)

Runs fine in my second box at stock clock speeds.

Cons: Amber, Green, and Red LEDS. Amber? Yuck!

Other Thoughts: With memory being so picky about voltages it makes me wonder what the row of LEDs on each stick will do to the life\stability of the memory.
