5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent RAM

Pros: Purchased a set of this RAM about 3 months ago when I upgraded the MB and CPU in this machine. So far, they have not disappointed. I did a lot of research before deciding on these, and I am glad I did. Currently I have them running at 1466 6-6-6-16 1T 1.8v. I am still tinkering with them, so I will post back later when I am done. With stock timings and volts, so far I have had them as high as just under 1600mhz. Reviews I researched have had them running at nearly 2000mhz at CAS 8, with a minor voltage bump, but I haven't taken the time to push them yet. Will soon. But so far, they run tighter timings at higher speeds with no issues. Lights are a nifty little addition too if you have a side windowed case.

Cons: Not a one.

5 out of 5 eggsneeded to update Bios

Pros: 1) pretty colors =)
2) Very fast
3) Once updated bios, set timings automatically

Cons: 1) Before i flashed the Bios would only boot at DDR3, 1066, 6-6-7 2t (was very disappointed)

Other Thoughts: Mobo is Asrok p43Twins1600. Could not get it past like 1000mhz befor flashing bios, no matter what I tried. Finally, I flashed the Bios and it set itself automatically, DDR3 1333 @ 6-6-6-15 (1t) timings at 1.59 Volt. Very pretty lights as well =) Overall very pleased.
My Rig= CM650psu, E8400 @ 3.6ghz, 2x2gb this ram, Gigabyte 260GTXOC, The machine is built for Crysis Wars and turns a steady 30fps at 1440/900 all settings highest, no AA.

5 out of 5 eggsCB TRACER WITH LED

Pros: Great product so far. Have run anywhere from cas 6-9 with only volt and timing changes. Even at 1.8 volt at cas 6 memory is just warm to the touch. Blazing fast and the light show is interesting.

Cons: cas 4?

Other Thoughts: seems to be a great product so far. I definetly like the low temps of the new AM3 and DDR3 products due to low voltage.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff!

Pros: Used on an MSI 790FX GD70 AM3, AMD X3 720BE PhenomII and OC to over 3.7Ghz on auto with AMD's Overdrive software. RAM ran at over 1500 at stock multiplier and currently running at 16.5X225=3.712 Ghz. Not bad without tweaking other stuff.

Cons: NTIKO

Other Thoughts: The lights are cute. If you want a show run Memtest.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Runs at CAS 6 on GA-MA790XT-UD4P if you set the voltages and latency correctly.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you cant get this memory to run at the advertised spec, blame the motherboard or your lack of understanding.

The leds on these sticks are a gimmick, but if someone is in to pretty colors they might like it. I should have gotten the ones without the leds, I like to keep it simple.

4 out of 5 eggsTips on how to get better timings

Pros: Performance is very good

Cons: Performance is not QUITE what was advertised, at least in my configuration

Other Thoughts: Ok, so I posted a review earlier stating 7-7-7-22 timings were the best I could do. I tweaked things a little and discovered that the absolute best I could do without taking the voltage above 1.9V was 7-6-6-20 at 1.82V (0.925 DDR VTT Voltage). Increasing to 1.9 and above would POST at 6-6-6-20 but would crash during Windows load. I was afraid to take the voltage beyond about 1.92 because the memory runs very hot anyway. But at 1333MHz, 1.82/0.925 8GB of this memory will run at 7-6-6-20 on a Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P. This is the configuration I have settled on. All other parts are running at defaults (I'm not an overclocker).

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Outta the Box

Pros: Put these in and PC booted right up.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: As others have said, deafaults to 9-9-9-24. I will write another review after I have had a chance to play around with the timings some.

4 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality, Very Fast, Pretty Colors

Pros: - Reputable company (usually the flashy stuff comes from no-names)
- Fast stock timings
- LED lights are mesmerizing, and are a nice visual confirmation that your RAM is working properly
- 1333MHz is the current sweet-spot for DDR3 RAM

Cons: - Expensive; the lights and timings are very nice but this is definitely not a value-for-money product

Other Thoughts: When I bought this RAM it was only 5 bucks more than the G.Skill DDR3 1333MHz, so I felt I could justify the cost. The LEDs are a bit bright when looking at them straight-on, but they make amazing reflections on my CPU cooler and light up the mobo beautifully. Definitely recommended, if you don't mind the price.

4 out of 5 eggsNot quite there on the timings

Pros: Good light show, impressive published specs

Cons: Can't get 8gb to run at 6-6-6-20 1.8V

Other Thoughts: I got this to run at 7-7-7-22 @ 1.8V. Wants to default to 1.5V on my Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P. I'm running a Phenom II x4 955 and Geforce 260 216 coreOC (MSI). Getting very high @ 1600x900 8xAA in Crysis and otherwise good performance. You MUST up the voltage to 1.8V which this memory is spec'd at in order to get 7-7-7-22. Otherwise it defaults to 9-9-9-24.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome light show.

Pros: These modules have worked as advertised and that's all I can really ask for. I really love the light show they give off at night. Along with the case fans in my Antec case.. it amuses me.

Cons: The only con from my perspective is this item was not easier to find on Newegg. It was not very high up on any of the search lists. I actually found it by accident.

Other Thoughts: As others have stated to reach the listed speeds i had to manually change the settings in bios. My MSI mother board had it at a lower voltage and slower speeds. I'm not sure I had to raise the voltage to that listed by Crucial but I did. This really isn't a negative in my view (as the specs are easy to find). Then again years ago I had to set these things manually regardless and this may be why it doesn't bother me.
