5 out of 5 eggsGood Ram

Pros: Upgraded my Laptop from 4GB (2x2GB) to this 8GB kit. Simple installation blah blah blah. Noticed an increase in performance immediately. It felt a lot smoother than when I had 4GB. It's been running strong for the last year. No issues and since it is my laptop, it gets exposed to different temperatures and experiences a little more "wear and tear" than my desktop.

Cons: No cons!

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Peasy

Pros: Plug it in and go. Along with an SSD upgrade, this breathes new life to an 'old' Core 2 MacBook. No complaints on OS X or Windows 7 through Parallels or Boot Camp.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Started with 2GB, I thought about saving a few bucks and getting a 4GB kit but what the heck maxed it out at 8GB.

I've had Crucial sticks of the SDR, DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 variety for desktops and laptops and they have never let me down.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with Mid 2010 15" Macbook Pro 2.66 Ghz Intel Core i7

Pros: Easy install. Mackbook Pro booted right up. Went from 4 GB to 8 GB. I first tired memory from Corsair, Mac would not accept; sent back. Ordered the Crucial worked like a charm. In other words spend the extra couple bucks and buy the Crucial. It will save you so much headache.

Cons: None so far. Only installed it a few hrs ago.

Easy jump from 4 to 8 GB in my Lenovo z565. Solid memory, but wouldn't expect otherwise from Crucial.
