4 out of 5 eggsSlower than expected

Pros: Price, no cap, not a cheap slider.

Cons: Much slower than expected. at only 2-5 Megs a sec it can take a looong time to move HD videos.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great in my MacBook

Pros: Its 4GB. Its a good bang for the buck upgrade.

Cons: My macbook will only accept two of these.

Other Thoughts: Installed in a late 2008 unibody MacBook running OSX Lion. Crucial has been a reliable brand in my experience.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdated RAM For My ThinkPad

Pros: I originally bought this with my new ThinkPad almost a year ago, my computer came with 2GB, which is kinda small, considering Windows 7 operates best with 4GB of RAM, so I decided what the heck.

So I put this in my computer and now it has 6GB of RAM (5.75GB usable), it worked as soon as I turned my computer back on.

I just bought another one of these to max my computer out to 8GB (7.75GB usable). I definitely recommend this if your looking for a cheap but high quality RAM memory module.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsnever arrived - customer service blew me off

Pros: so far, none

Cons: well, it never came to me, partly my fault, as my address change was wrong. when i spoke with customer service, they told me to wait one day and it would be cancelled. its not been cancelled and my money not refunded. they essentially were saying it because they didn't want to deal with my issue at that moment and looking to get me off the chatline. i have screenshots of the conversation that i plan to post somewhere, who knows.

Other Thoughts: i'll still order from newegg. part of this issue was my fault, but i expected better from customer service.

5 out of 5 eggsBought 8GB for my Mac mini 2009 (3,1)

Pros: The price is great!
Worked perfectly in my Early 2009 Mac Mini, which accepts up to 8GB.

Cons: No cons, this is a great price. You should look at your machines allowed memory space and max it out.

Other Thoughts: Previously the original specs for early 2009 Mac mini was 4GB. It wasn't enough to run Windows 7 in a virtual machine with OS X side by side. It would run, but so slow I decided to just use bootcamp.

After realizing Apple released firmware to allow 8GB a while back. I am so happy because it made my machine the ability to run Windows 7 and OS X side by side even for intensive apps like Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008, etc.
