1 out of 5 eggsBad stick

Pros: Was inexpensive for 8 CAS.

Cons: Bad stick right out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Bad stick = blue screens when trying to install Windows.

Currently running on the one good one while waiting on RMA.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Memory, Average OC

Pros: Average Overclocking
Stable and Strong

Cons: I bought this set when they were $115, now at $47.

Other Thoughts: I will be getting another set to match up. I only gave them 4 stars because there are faster sets available, but now for the money you really can't beat this set for the price.

2 out of 5 eggsUnstable at 1600MHz

Pros: Heatsinks look fancy
Stable at 1333MHz

Cons: Unstable at 1600MHz and SPD timings

Other Thoughts: I tested these on Asus P8P67 Pro Rev. 3.0 stepping B3 and Intel i5 2500k. The processor is functioning at stock frequency, and the motherboard is running on recommended auto settings - ie. no overclocking. Power supply is Antec 620W, voltages to cpu and ram are nominal, temperatures are ~40*C idle and ~65*C at full load (prime95 blend stress test), so nothing unusual is happening in this setup.
Prime95 reports no errors when RAM is running at 1333MHz, 1.5v, stock timings by SPD. When adjusted to operate at 1600MHz, prime95 fails within minutes. At that speed, SPD sets the voltage to 1.65v and more aggressive timings (8-8-8-24). I had to manually revert these back to 9-9-9-24 (what they are at 1333MHz) to regain stability, and while that's not a big deal, it's not the spec that crucial promises. I don't know if I had gotten a bum batch, or if crucial needs to reevaluate their advertising or QC policy, but the fact is that I received a substandard product and I'm not fully satisfied.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram

Pros: Fast enough for files to be loaded. Reliable, has been working for about 2 years while being put under heavy load.

Cons: Only 4GB, not enough for all the programs i need to use while on Windows 7 64-Bit.

Other Thoughts: Runs like a champ, great if you play games that don't require lots of RAM, loads windows 7 32-bit well. Get this if you need cheap yet reliable RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Low latency. Great speedy RAM. I had it for about four years and it went bad. I RMA's it to the company because they say it has a limited lifetime warranty. Within less than a week they got back to me no questions asked and just replaced it. In my book that, in and of itself gets five stars.

Cons: It did go bad so that's a con but they replaced it so so what.

Other Thoughts: I don't remember if I bought it here or not. I just wanted to leave this feedback and say I'm definitely going to buy it again and I'll probably buy these sticks right here on this page.

3 out of 5 eggsFirst order was good. The second...

Pros: I ordered one pair of this memory while building a new system in Feb. 2010...it has been flawless, fast, and wonderful.

Cons: I ordered a second pair in March 2011...and 2 weeks after the return period was up, I began getting really strange errors in Windows and disk corruption. Memtest86 showed that one of the new sticks was the culprit, just as it was too late to RMA. Boo.
