5 out of 5 eggsUpdate!!!

Pros: These sticks don't cease to amaze me, I just went 1T timings and "O M G"! So fast!

Cons: 6 sticks and a Gigabyte P55a-ud6 (c) is a no go for anything above 1333, maybe I got a faulty board or there is something quirky with this setup so I have 4x1GB.

Other Thoughts: Thing is, I thought it would be wiser to run them @ stock speeds 8-8-8-20-28 but with 1T timings and received a 3d mark vantage cpu score of 50270 (ddr3-1600) up from 18212 (ddr3-1800), BIG difference. I know I can get tighter timings but I'm happy just like this.

5 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby

Pros: I have had bad experiences with DDR2-800 single sided Crucial Ballistix Tracers in the past but these, these are AWESOME! 8-8-8-24-32 @ 1800 speeds and 1.65V on a Gigabyte P55A-UD6 (c) mobo and 850w PSU. I'm not going to push them any harder but I'm sure they can be squeezed for more juice. On top of that, they don't even sweat and keep cool with minimal airflow and the lights are not too bright like the yellow w/ red sticks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I doubt it's the sticks but I tried using 6x1GB of these sticks in my setup and slots DDR-3 and DDR-6 were causing problems and no matter what I tried, it just didn't work well. It posted 1066 by default with optimal bios settings and would kind of work but not much could be done to raise the speed without BSOD. I did manage to get them up to 1333 but again, very unstable. I took these problem sticks out and tested them individually with flying colors! 4x1GB was the sweet spot and I know they can be further tweaked but what for? I know that Windows performance index is not reliable but I have a 7.5 score on these with Windows 7 Ultimate x64... I'm still waiting to hear from a Gigabyte rep with an answer to my problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Ram

Pros: Operates at posted speeds.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Wasn't able to unlock cores with Phenom II x2 555BE w/ACC on and this ram, but chips probly the issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Memory! Blue Tracer lights!

Pros: Love crucial memory. Have used it for ages. Always a solid performer. I put these sticks into an Asus M4A79XTD EVO board. It auto sets them at 1333Mhz... so you have to go into the BIOS to manually set the timings to 1600Mhz - 8-8-8-24 @ 1.65v. The machine hiccuped a couple times after doing that... but then has run fine ever since.

Cons: Again, just the couple BSOD's the first week. But none since. Machine parts just learning to play nice with each other i suppose. ;)

Other Thoughts: The blue lights dancing across the top of the memory sticks is cool at first... but in the future, i think i'll stick with regular memory sticks without the LEDs.
