5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works well
8GB's 2x4 instead of 4x2
45 bucks... 45 bucks.
No errors

Cons: I had a little instability at first. I do have my CPU overclocked so I set the voltage to 1.53 and have worked stable since. That's a pretty low voltage for ram anyhow.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a Phenom II 955 C2 system and I'm pretty sure it will transfer to my i5 2500K when I buy it.
I've always gravitated to Crucial for some reason, maybe it's the timing along with the deals. I had a 2GB DD2 800 kit in a C2D to worked like a charm. I've taken the ran out, tossed it around, into different systems and it just works. I've got 2x2GB's of G-Skill that always acted a bit flaky in this system - this kit seemed to solve that.

When I bought this ram I think I was able to get it for 40 bucks. Talk about cheap... and BF3 seems to like it too.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price for a lot of memory

Pros: Nice looking and set up was easy. I installed them, turned it on and it just took a reset of the bios to recognize them.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I did have to manually set it to 1333mhz.

2 out of 5 eggsDidn't like it

Pros: Good spec's........but!

Cons: When using any other manufactuers ram I will get a minimum of 7.5 windows wei score. I can't get past 5.9 with this, oc'd or not.

Other Thoughts: Replaced with another manufactuers similar spec'd ram and got 7.5 wei. I tried this on two different boards. No more of this if windows can't seem to find it good enough. Yes, I went to msconfig and made sure it was using all 8gigs. Got an awesome price on it when it first came out. I'll still use it......but in a build that doesn't care about spec's.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Shipping was super fast, works like a charm.

Cons: I bought this to match what I alread had in my machine. But while looking I did notice that you can get faster RAM for just a little bit more money.

Other Thoughts: Good to upgrade an existing machine. If your building a new rig, spend the extra 10 bucks and get the faster stuff.

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality RAM at a good price.

Pros: Crucial brand, so you know what to expect.
Installed (physically) with no problems and no issues in the BIOS setup either.
Timings are exactly as advertised.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Satisfied with the product I received and the price I paid. Exactly what I've come to expect from Crucial over the years.

5 out of 5 eggsJust another 5-Egg review

Pros: Runs at 800, 1066, and 1333
Cheap (and compared to DDR2, a steal)
Looks neat?

Cons: none what so ever

Other Thoughts: It's RAM, not much you can say about. Running it on a G41 MSI board with Windows 7 Ultimate and i barely hit 30% playing BC2 and BF3-Beta (18% under normal use). That's about it, this is like describing the color blue... IT'S BLUE

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Well what all can you say about memory, its a stick its about yay big and it goes in the little slot its supposed to. Timings were exactly as advertised, had no problem plugin and playing them motherboard recognized them the second it booted with the correct settings for them. They work great exactly what I wanted.

Cons: The one thing that kind of urked me about these memory sticks was the way they were packaged. Felt like i was preforming brain surgery just trying to remove them from the clam shell. Of course if I hadn't been so lazy and just gotten a larger pair of scissors it likely wouldn't have been an issue. :)

Other Thoughts: Case: Antec 900
CPU: AMD 1090t Thuban
MB: Gigabyte 990XA-UD3
Mem: Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB
Vid: BFG 9800gt 1GB
