Other Thoughts: Great memory at a great price. Shut down, install, reboot, there it is. No down side...

Pros: Great price - got it during an egg shell shocker. Always helpful to have another pair of sticks around to help you trouble shoot. Works well with ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard without issues.

Cons: Motherboard would not start up with this memory installed. With other memory, motherboard works fine. RMA. Motherboard specs say this speed is supported.

Other Thoughts: I don't know why but I could not load Windows with 4 sticks of this ram installed. I installed Windows with 2 sticks and then put the other two sticks back in and the system works fine. Mem test (run 8 hours) says the memory is fine also.

Pros: 13.99 on a shell shocker deal. Nice! Upgrading from corsair xms3 1333 2x2gb, to 4x2gb of these.

Cons: None, fantastic price on ram with this good timings, and clock speed.

Pros: I am a big fan of Crucial products, but this one didn't cut it.

Cons: Failed to boot new build with MSI FM2 motherboard and AMD Trinity A6 CPU.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why, but the Crucial Ballistix weren't compatible. Tried both sticks, and then each stick separately. Fail. I popped in a G.Skill Ripjaw stick with the same specs and it fired right up. Weird.

Pros: -i always test my new ram with memtest 86. let it run multiple times, no errors.

-lifetime warranty.

Pros: Best ram ive purchased for overclocking

Cons: None , did have to set the correct rated timings in my motherboards bios which is not a big deal

Other Thoughts: Very competitively priced with other brands of ram

Pros: Bought this for a home NAS box. Seems to run solidly with the XMP parameters selected.

Cons: Installed in an Asus P8H77-I board (crucial.com claims compatibility), and had to go set the speed to 1600 manually in the BIOS, and select the XMP profile. Also, there was no good place to push on the DIMMs to seat them in the motherboard slot, so I had to push on the heat spreaders that extend above the PCB, which doesn't seem good for the DRAM chip attach points.

Other Thoughts: Hasn't been any trouble since the system has been up and running.

Thank you for your comments. For the Ballistix Tactical and Elite series, the user does have to manually go into the BIOS to get full performance and rated specifications via XMP or manually setting the parameters.
