1 out of 5 eggsDefective after 6 months

Pros: Decent performance for the price

Cons: 1 chip of 6 failed within 6 months of use at stock numbers, in an extremely cool running, clean case. While it says it has a limited lifetime warranty, that warranty only covers 45 days after purchase. I will not be buying this line of memory again.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

We offer a limited lifetime warranty on our DRAM in North America, there must be some confusion. Please contact us directly at on our US based support at 1-800-336-8896 or online at www.crucial.com/help and we will assist you with any memory issues and supply and RMA if needed. We're sorry for any inconveinence.

Regards,
Crucial

5 out of 5 eggsI only buy Crucial

Pros: I am running 2 sets (24GB) at 1850MHz 9-9-9-27 CR1 Only a small volt increase.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have purchased many memory modules and Crucial is the best. It must be because they are the manufacturer.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well

Pros: Working well alongside of the 6GB of OCZ RAM (OCZ3P1600LV6GK) that I already had.

Compatible with GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD4P mobo.

Cons: Had to manually adjust mobo settings to match specs, but then Windows Explorer started crashing. Dialed the speed back to 1333 and all appears to be working. My guess is it's probably because of the mixed types of RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: Upgraded my ASUS P6X58D-E with this 12gb kit and it is working flawlessly.
I had 6gb of Corsair CORSAIR DOMINATOR TR3X6G1600C8D which needed 1.65v to run XMP 1600 speed. this Crucial kit runs at the same 8-8-8-24 timings at XMP 1600 with only 1.5v . Nice low profile heatsinks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I chose this kit instead of any of the other 12gb triple channel kits because it was the only one in this price range that was Cas Latency 8 at 1600mhz. All the others were Cas Latency 9 at 1600mhz.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great looking memory that moved my X58 machine up to 24GB. Easy to get to 1600 speeds through Intel XMP bios settings - took all of 20 seconds to enter bios and change this setting, reboot and memory is running great. Still maintains a low profile with its heat sinks.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Never had an issue with Crucial memory - from enthusiast builds to low power budget builds.

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems!

Pros: Installed 12gb in a Sabertooth X58 MB with no problems. Using XMP setting. Passed MEMTEST. Running 8-8-8-24 timing. No issues there. Will buy another 12Gb soon. WE @ 7.8. Definitely a good buy.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It would good if the price dropped further.
