5 out of 5 eggsWorking as designed

Pros: This RAM module worked straight from the box. No challenges were presented during installation or booting. My motherboard and Windows 8.1 64bit both recognize the module without issue.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsDead

Pros: Worked fine for a while

Cons: Just up and died one day. PC won't boot until I replaced this memory

Other Thoughts: As a computer repair technician, I've found in every case where memory has caused problems with a PC, the system has defective Micron memory. I don't see any failures from any other brand, including Elpidia, Samsung, Corsair, or others. Micron and it's subsidiary, Crucial, just have poor quality and poor quality control.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat product

Pros: Great price, reliable, looks good

Cons: Can't think of any, because there aren't any!

Other Thoughts: I bought this because at the time, it was the best RAM for the price. I built my computer three months ago. And in that time, I've had problems with my processor, GPU, and hard drive. But never have I had a problem with my RAM. It's been running strong and consistent since the day i installed it. Great product and i recommend it highly. As soon as i get more money i'm going to by another stick.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat ram, excellent overclocking ability

Pros: I've used a lot of these sticks in many systems that I've built. Not one has failed, and all of them support higher speeds. The fastest I've been able to get these to run at is 2400, but I'm sure with more tweaking they could go higher.

Cons: I can't say that there are any cons as I have not encountered any problems or issues.

Other Thoughts: I've used this ram in many computers, including many workstations. Crucial, whose parent company is Micron, makes some of the best ram out there. I've used this ram and also their server ram in many systems. I've found that they are very adjustable in terms of their timings as well as how high you can overclock them. These are a much better deal than going with some of those higher priced kits. And considering you can get the same timings, why spend a few hundreds dollars more when you can get this memory that will most likely overclock to the same speeds? But it has been proven and shown that 1600 or higher for memory speeds only adds a marginal performance increase in most cases... 2% at most. It's not worth buying higher priced ram in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: -It works
-Did not fail

Cons: --Won't walk my dog

Other Thoughts: Runs as advertised, got another stick to match another stick I had previously, 16GB provides a lot more headroom for gaming, editing, etc.

4 out of 5 eggsNo fuss, no muss

Pros: Works as advertised. I put two of these bad boys in my rig and suddenly had 16GB of RAM available. Heat spreaders look good, but aren't bulky. If you don't need xtreme speed DDR then this RAM is for you.

Cons: None, this RAM works great.
