I was able to slap the memory in and boot right up. No configuration, no errors, no problems whatsoever. In my opinion you can't go wrong with Crucial memory. Cons: It wasn't free. Other Thoughts: I'm running this memory with the Asus M4A87TD/USB3 motherboard with the AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU. The lockups only happened when running 1080p flash videos past 20 minutes. Once every 2 1/2 weeks. So I ignored it, thinking it was Flash. Eventually it got worse. Swapped ram chips, problem gone.
