5 out of 5 eggsI say that these are the ones to get.

Pros: "Low profile" means that there's plenty of clearance above this memory stick for you to use virtually every CPU heat sink made for your socket type. "Low profile" means there's no gaudy metalwork colliding with your CPU heat sink. If you buy "low profile", then you'll finally quit complaining about CPU heat sinks altogether! Extra-low latency makes this Ballistix Tactical memory a supreme choice for a top performing computer.

Cons: Well, memory is more expensive now than it was a year ago. All you CPU heat sink complainers should be whining along with me about memory prices instead of droning on about the poor clearance between your CPU heat sink and your memory cards. I'm just so tired of hearing complaints about CPU heat sinks! However, I think you should buy this memory stick regardless of the expense, just so you'll be able to use any CPU heat sink you wish!

Other Thoughts: Have I told you about CPU heat sinks??? Well, let me tell you again: If you buy this Crucial Ballistix Tactical memory stick, you'll have plenty of clearance for any CPU heat sink that matches your socket. Too many people complain about poor clearance between their heat sink and their memory, but you'll never regret buying a "LOW PROFILE" memory stick.

5 out of 5 eggsOnly 1.35v

Pros: I was looking for cas8 memory, 1.35v and these fit the bill. I bought 2 singles since it was cheaper than dual kit. Heat spreader plus low 1.35v = less heat. Good reviews here and elsewhere. My current system is mid-tower atx but next system may be micro/slim and these would be good for that. I like the look of them.

Cons: A 1.35v 1866MHz would be nice.

Other Thoughts: Overclocked to 1664MHzon amd system with all default timings. Prime 95 stable overnight (7+ hrs) several times.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat MEM

Pros: Good price, selected XMP profile 1 in bios and boom, right to advertised speed timings. No issues running Prime 95.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The low profile gives the memory a stealthy look, not sure of the benefit of that other than making room for a huge CPU heatsink. I run a H80 liquid cooler, so space is no issue for me.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great so far

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I was looking for some fast and inexpensive RAM for a sub-$600 HTPC/light gaming computer. Bought two and these and the build and has worked great so far.
