5 out of 5 eggsSolid Performance

Pros: Fast performance
Easy installation

Cons: slightly less space than advertised
high price point

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. My cold boot and resume times have decreased drastically. At least an order of magnitude on both times.

Daily performance reading/writing data seems improved as well, though I'm not using it for storage. Programs load faster, but not much.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: Lightning fast boot and program loading speeds, if your switching from an classic HDD you'll love the speeds of an SSD

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: First time buying a refurbished product and I was not disappointed, works perfectly, no issues in the roughly nine months I've had it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the Buy

Pros: This is the first solid state drive i've had and it is currently running my OS on it while my regular mechanical drive stores the rest of my information.

After I got everything installed in the drive doing things on my pc became much quicker. The difference was easy to notice and the benefits worth the $120 I paid for it.

Cons: None so far. just that I have it hanging rather than secured in in my case but that has to do with my power supply having somewhat shorter cables.

Other Thoughts: Would like to eventually switch to SSD completely when it's cheaper for larger amounts of space.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk!

Pros: None

Cons: Used once and shelved for several months. No longer can be seen in BIOS. Power cycle does not work Crucial!

Other Thoughts: Last item I will purchase made by a company who won't stand behind their products for longer than a month.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid SSD

Pros: Fast

Cons: No other hardware was shipped with it. No bracket so you could fit it in a 3.5" slot, no SATA cable, simply a barebones, SSD. Seems to be geared more towards laptop use, since you don't typically use that kind of hardware in that case. Regardless, once I had it hooked up the only other hiccup was Windows 7 disliking that I still had my old drive plugged in while I tried to install to this one, which is an issue with Windows and not exclussive to this SSD. Available size was slightly under what was advertised, but still more than other SSD's for the $100 I paid, and still more than enough for my purposes.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Outstanding deal, I got it when they were selling for $125. The drive benched at spec'd speeds and is missing no space. My drive was like new.

Cons: Can't honestly think of any.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, fast

Cons: My only but really BIG problem is the update utility. I have used >10 SSD's from various manufacturers by now. They all vary from easy to hard to use. This one though is in the class of it's own. Not only it's totally intuitive, it actually doesn't work with AHCI connection, so you have to reconfigure back to IDE, reflash, and reconfigure back upon boot. Overall, BADLY written by either high school kids (not even college), or possibly by foreign developers with completely twisted mentality.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works well

Pros: What you expect in a good ssd for fast app loading, and strength. Great for a laptop.

Cons: This is my first refurbished item. I was worried once I opened the item. I didn't really care that the original box was missing, just that the drive was look used. By the scratches on the case, I would assume the previous owner used this as a portable back up drive.

Other Thoughts: Everything tested OK and the drive works. I installed this in my wife's '09 macbook pro. Start up was 1 minute 45 sec to now 45 seconds. I expected 15 to 25 seconds but apps load in under a second, and now I don't have to worry if my young son drops the laptop while the the drive is working....I am happy

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolut garbage

Pros: none on this one

Cons: Bought it understanding that it might be a bit used. Only has 56gigs of space usable on it. So basically wasted money

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect so far

Pros: Not a single problem so far and the speed is incredible. It gets a 7.8 (top score is a 7.9) on the Windows Experience scale.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Does not come with mounting bracket but with no moving parts, I don't actually need one.

I will post again if I come across any issue.
