5 out of 5 eggsStill Strong after 350 hours powered on

Pros: Its Faster in every way than any hdd ive used ive
im getting around 300MB\s write speeds
im running win 7 ultimate x64 on an asus 990fx sabertooth mainboard, amd phenom ii x4 945 cpu(soon to be fx 8370) and a gtx 970.

boot times are half a minute!

Cons: when i updated my firmware on the ssd, crucial drive executive would not boot up to the update environment to update to firmware ver mu02. i belive its because the efi bios prevents it somehow, i couldnt figure out how to update this way on my setup. so i opted for the usb method which worked really well but i wont loose an egg over that.my drive capacity was 238gb after format as expected.also when right clicking large files over a gb it can sometime hang for a bit only in the window im trying to access the file in, i f wait it respnds and everything is normal but with these things being so new i can accept it and it rarley happens

Other Thoughts: -enable ahci
-have trim support
-dont defrag
imo this is a great drive at a great price im satisfied with my purchase thus far!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop upgrade

Pros: I bought this to upgrade my Lenovo T61, along with Windows 7 Home 64 bit, from Windows XP and 120Gb HD. Easy installation. Works perfectly. So much faster booting. I use the machine for business so I didn't need huge capacity.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorth It

Pros: Second experience with an SSD and this one is remarkably fast for the price. Absolutely zero issues with installing Windows 8.1, booting, or copying over files. I'll definitely be getting an additional Crucial SSD when I need more space.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome SSD

Pros: Great Solid State. Loads Windows up in about 5 seconds from beginning to end. The price is right, and the product is awesome.

Cons: None yet. Been working with this SSD for a short time, so hopefully no long term issues.

4 out of 5 eggsreally fast but kinda flaky

Pros: Drive seems really fast, installed on new build with Asus Z97-A motherboard.

Cons: Running windows 10 but sometimes the drive will just disappear. Have to completely power down to get drive to appear and have to go back into the bios fix the boot order. On crucial's website I see enough people with the same issue that I suspect its a firmware issue. Crucial recently came out with firmware mu02 but that didn't fix the issue. Hoping this issue gets fixed by the time windows 10 officially releases.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent performance per dollar

Pros: Very Fast
Comes with migration software (Acronis)
256 is a binary number and just feels better for size

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The drive came well packaged and with a free copy of Acronis True Image HD. Not the full version but enough to backup the entire hard drive of our d630 and restore it on to this drive. The software was not the most intuitive but certainly understandable when you paid attention to what you were doing. I used a second party system with a SATA reader for the transfer.

The drive performance has been outstanding and took a 10 to 15 minute boot (pretty sure the drive was about to fail) and dropped it to a 15 second boot (a good portion is bios). My wife is thrilled with the results and has taken a laptop that was almost worthless to a valuable asset again.

5 out of 5 eggsTakes a serious pounding flawlessly

Pros: I've been waiting to review this drive until it had some time under its belt. It's been close to 6 months now and this drive continues to amaze me. I have two of these drives mirrored as my boot drives under Windows Server 2008R2. This server is up 24/7/365 and takes a constant pounding. I have thrown all I could at these little devices and they have come through every time. Not a big fan of boot-up benchmarks but for comparison: 2 10K SATA Drives (Seagate) took about 90 seconds from POST to Login prompt. With the SSD's, it's about 22 seconds. Overall server throughput has increased by a factor of 3.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I will be replacing a large (4TB) array on my SQL server with the 512GB versions of these drives shortly. I am confident this will bring the database transaction rate by at least twice, maybe more.

I HIGHLY recommend these drives for any type of use. If they can survive a server environment, any user will be thrilled with the performance and power savings these drives offer.
