1 out of 5 eggsAvoid!

Pros: Probably the very best compact design with a cap and lanyard onthe market!

Cons: Expensive. Paying mostly for the design. I used this a couple times a month. Never dropped or abused. I bought it in december 2011 and it died sept 2012! Steer clear of this one!

1 out of 5 eggsno warranty as promised

Pros: It's small, has carry cord, does not get hot.

Cons: Failed after a few months of lite use. Lacie promised 2 year warranty but did not live up to it. After a series of inane questions from tech support I got RMA. Then they write "Refused" on package and sent it back, case is dead. lol. I followed instructions exactly, but that's not good enough for them. They also don't answer emails asking what happened. I will never do business with Lacie again.

2 out of 5 eggsDied after a year

Pros: It's really small! I can leave it in my laptop when I carry it around and not worry about it.

Cons: After about a year, the drive died. After a year of use, mostly just being stuck in my laptop without many reads or writes, the disk no longer works. My computer recognizes that a Mass Storage Device has been inserted, but it thinks that there is no media in the device.

Other Thoughts: I really liked the size of this disk, but I don't think I would buy this model again.
Not that fast, but reasonable for the size of the drive.
I wouldn't trust this drive with any data you need to keep.

1 out of 5 eggsTotal waste

Pros: Nice Xmas gift.

Cons: Dead after very light usage. Windows recognizes it as a removeable drive with no memory.

Other Thoughts: I got it as a gift. But such a waste.

1 out of 5 eggsit's dead

Pros: Nice small size, zero profile

Cons: It died after only a few uses. Now it shows up as a removeable disk, and says please insert disk.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 3 months of light use.

Pros: Extremely tiny.

Cons: Died after three months of light use.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this on January 18th for use in my car radio -- a Ford/Microsoft SYNC. I replaced it with an iPod Nano in early March when I realized that I could not play music purchased off of iTunes on the USB drive alone. (Thanks Apple. What happened to no DRM?) Well, I was going to give the MosKeyTo to my brother on Easter since he also has a Ford/Microsoft SYNC radio in his car. The drive died while I was formatting it for him on April 20th. I have tried for a week to resurrect it, but I have not had any luck. I saw all of the comments saying that they tend to die in a few months, and I am giving up on it.

1 out of 5 eggsDied within 4 months

Pros: small

Cons: Died after 4 months.

Other Thoughts: Like many others, I used this in my car stereo, because of it's low profile. I rarely (maybe twice) removed it to add/remove .mp3 files. Today I unplugged it and brought it into the house to add some new tunes; none of my computers detect it. I've never had a flash drive fail yet, am pretty disappointed. I should have known; LaCie is junk!

1 out of 5 eggsBad product

Pros: It's small.

Cons: Like other reviewers had said this device failed after about 2-3 months of light use. It is no longer detected in any of the computers I have tried it in. Lacie has HORRIBLE support. Almost in possible to get in touch with them through their site. If you wanna try phone support it will cost you $15. Seriously??? Avoid this product if unless you want to waste your money and lose the data you have saved on your drive.

1 out of 5 eggsBad product bad company

Pros: It is small. It doesn't cause cancer.

Cons: The drive failed out of the blue. I got this drive to use in my truck stereo's usb slot to play mp3 files. It worked well for a while, but I noticed that every once in a while it would not be read by the stereo. I could fix this by pulling it out and replacing it. But one day it just stopped working all together. I assumed that I just needed to reformat it and put the music back on it. But to my dismay, the drive is no longer recognized by windows either. I have tried it in five differant computers. I have looked in the device manager and it just no longer exists. At that point, I thaught, at least it has a two year warranty. I guess a two year warranty is no good if you cant get in touch with the company that makes it. I have been to lacie's website, and cannot get through to support, I could use the phone support system, but they charge $15.00 for phone support.

Other Thoughts: Long story short, you would be better off grabbing a rock from your driveway and cramming it in a usb slot. That way you spend less money, and suffer less frustration.
