Pros: "Remember" the line is STTWK? Well this memory works and is memory.

Pros: I purchased two 512 MB DIMMs and replaced both DIMMs in my Inspiron 8200 to go from 384 MB to 1GB of memory. New memory was recognized on start-up and all was well. The old Dell runs a lot snappier now. Price was great too. Thanks Newegg.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: none din't work, ordered fror a disabled friend for Compaq Presario 2140us Pc specs called for DDR 333 Max i Gig (2X512) I bought 2 of these Pc wouldnot boot with either or both had to reinstall the 2 256 sticks.

Cons: Not sure if this Pc just didn't like this brand or if sticks are bad

Other Thoughts: Price was low so I'll keep for use later on a different PC.
Return shipping and delays aren't worth the hassle on lower priced items

Pros: Booted right up; no problems. My laptop called for PC2100 memory, but this PC2700 works fine. Firefox and Thunderbird are now noticeably faster. It has given new life to this old laptop.

Pros: excellent upgrade for Dell Inspiron 8200 and Sony Vaio pcg-grt170. Very simple installation.

Cons: Dispite my previous satisfaction and experience with Wintec memory, this was a bust. System won't post with just this memory installed and if I install either of the two I bought with a stick of the original or another 512M stick I barrowed from another system, niether of the new sticks are recognized in the BIOS. To bad...

Other Thoughts: At this price, I'll hold on to them and try them when the opportunity arises and hopefully I can find a system they will play nice in.

I will just go back and sellect a crucial pair for this system and be done with it.

Other Thoughts: Easy install, instantly recognized by OS/laptop. No problems, does what it's supposed to do.

Pros: Great price.

Cons: Does not work right in a Dell Inspirion 5100 or Sony Viao PCG-K35 with latest bioses. The computers only recognize 512MB with 2 sticks and they only recognize 192MB with 1 stick.

Other Thoughts: Before anyone tries to say otherwise, these laptops CAN handle a gig of 333. The dell 5100 already had a gigabyte of 333 that was working fine and the Viao worked just fine when I tested it with the dell's memory.

Pros: Cheap Price, Compatibility with older systems

Cons: None that I'm aware of yet

Other Thoughts: Was looking for more Ram to revitalize an old Celeron 1.3 ghz laptop. Was running slow because it only had 256mb of Ram.

Bought two 512 mb sticks and now it's running much faster.
