PTTech 2/26/2012 7:20:12 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Not class 6 speed Pros: 8GB sdhc card for $8 with shipping included. Cons: Not fast enough for windows readyboost. Other Thoughts: Bought to use with readyboost on a netbook running windows 7. Although listed as a class 6 speed the read and write times were insufficient to be compatible with readyboost. Tested 5 times with readyboost tester and failed each time. Opened windows event viewer and 3 times the problem was insufficient read performance with the highest speed being 2012 Kb/ sec. The other 2 times failed because of insufficient write performance with the fastest being 869 Kb/ sec. Since this is listed as a class 6 card I question the quality of it. The package says "Minimum sustained write speed - 6MB/s" My older sd card works with readyboost and I am pretty sure it is a lower speed class. I can still use the card in our camera and camcorder but this is not why I bought it so I am disappointed in that aspect. However overall not a bad deal since you get so much memory for a cheap price but get another card if you really need class 6 speed. Did you find this review helpful? Pros: 8Gigs, Class 6, haven't actually measured the transfer speed on this thing but it definitely beats my old 4G SanDisk. For the price, you can't pass this one up! Something like this at any retail store will cost you 3x~4x as much Cons: No cons here. Other Thoughts: Using this to take HD quality(720p) pictures and videos off of my Canon SD780IS camera(got it for my birthday). 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
