4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does exactly what a USB drive is supposed to do. I haven't had any port fail to detect it and work with it. Noticeably faster than USB 2.0, though not as fast as some of the other USB 3.0 I've used.

Cons: I'd really like to have this on my key chain, but it doesn't have any way to fasten to one. There are holes punched into the end of the metal hinge/cover, but they are too small for any keyring I've been able to find. It really needs a braided chord to loop through it with a keyring on the end.

4 out of 5 eggsworking as specs

Pros: Work as specs and expected
30 MB/s write average speed
Usable as boot for Linux LIVE

Cons: I would like to have a flashing led to see when in use (writing/reading)
This is why a rate at 4/5 instead 5/5

Other Thoughts: With a flashing led it would be perfect

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfect

Pros: -Very fast write speed, I got 32MBs as reported by Windows 7 using a USB 3.0 port.
-It is compact enough so it does not block USB ports on the side, top, or bottom of the one it is using.
-Doesn't have a cap (which I always loose) or a slider (which I always break)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Another reviewer said he could not use this drive as a boot drive. I now own two of these and am using both as a boot drive with Grub4Dos. They work flawlessly for this purpose (and so fast!). I used both WinSetupFromUSB and RMPrepUSB to setup Grub4Dos and neither gave any problems with NTFS or FAT32.

3 out of 5 eggsOverall, good thumb drive

Pros: It performs as expected, is detected by USB 1 and 2 ports, and has a large capacity, also ran faster in the USB 3.0 ports I tried it on, but it's certainly not blindingly fast, I got it more for the space than anything, but a little extra speed on my home computers is always nice.

Also, great design, only 3.0 swivel design on the market(IE, Newegg) right now, and it's just as solid as its predecessors

Cons: This one is HUGE for me, because I purchased the thumb drive with plans of turning it into a boot drive for my "One Thumb Drive to Rule Them All," unfortunately, I can't seem to boot to the drive, even after installing GRUB4DOS on it, it was fairly disappointing, since I have this exact same brand of a USB 3.0 drive with 16GB and it boots just fine. Apparently the 32 GB is glitched there, it actually would stop some computers from booting when it was plugged in.

Other Thoughts: Taking off two eggs, since it failed miserably at its intended purpose, however, I still think it's well designed and solid, and I'm sure it would work great for anyone not planning to boot to their thumb drive.
