1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: Worked Perfectly for a month

Cons: Worked for only a month, only the USB is working. Tried re-installing and did not work. Very disappointing.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the buy.

2 out of 5 eggsMy Lucky Streak Ended

Pros: Multiple features/functions. With a little work, it can be coaxed into fitting a 5.25 opening in you case.

Cons: The card reader intermittantly dropped the CF and SD reading function...then a few days later, all card reading formats failed (no longer recognized in "computer")

Other Thoughts: My lucky streak ended with this purchace. This is part of my 6th computer build (since 2000). Believe it or not,This is the first component that I've had had to return.

2 out of 5 eggsWon't work with windows 8

Pros: Worked great until I got windows 8 release candidate. Looks good with my system and has all the ports I need

Cons: Stopped working when I got the windows 8 release candidate. I know that it's not a final product but it should work right away. Could be Microsoft's fault or mine but I wish it would have just worked.

1 out of 5 eggsWhat a Nightmare!!!

Pros: NONE

Cons: Installed in system with Intel Core 2 Duo MB that has run fine...all the way until I installed this card. Once installed the computer booted and rebooted by itself, then began freezing upon login. The card finally exceeded the maximum voltage allowance on the USB channel and now I have no sound on my computer. Still trying to determine if it damaged the audio on the MB or corrupted the audio drivers. Card really sucks!!!!!

Other Thoughts: If you enjoy hours of troubleshooting. I would have given "no eggs, if possible.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Card Reader

Pros: Works like a card reader should. Easy to install with no errors or complications. Additional USB port on the front is nice when you do not want to plug into the back of the PC.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me.

Pros: Slid right into my NZXT M59 case, and hooked right up. Even matches the color of my case quite well.

Has every type of port you could need in a card reader, including MicroSD (no more worrying about losing the Micro to regular size SD adapters!)

Also no clicking mechanisms to worry about when inserting a card, you just put it in as far as it goes, the light comes on, and that's that.

Cons: The sound cords are quite bulky and posed a major problem to keeping my wires hidden behind my motherboard. Also if you are to use these, they would have to hook into your onboard sound jacks. I prefer to have my speakers hooked up behind the tower, and luckily the speaker wires unhook from the entire reader easily, so you can get them out of your way if need be.

Your cards may hang out a small amount, which could lead to them getting damaged if you're wreckless. Luckily for me, this reader is recessed in my tower, and I won't have to worry about that.

Other Thoughts: All in all, this was a great buy to fix up the inadequacies of my new case. If you need a 5.25" reader like I did, I highly suggest this to you.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: USB port, every card ill ever use port, and e-sata. Im a professional photographer, I was tired of using this USB dongle for my CF cards, this has helped wonderfully. Just slid right in the 5.25 bay, wired it up, works wonderfully. Totally worth it

Cons: Shows all of the cards in your explorer window in Windows 7. Not really a bad thing, just partially annoying to some.

Other Thoughts: Looks great in my Corsair 700D

3 out of 5 eggsit's alright....

Pros: all the connections worked for me. convenient for when you have more than just a couple kinds of flash memory.

Cons: it crashes sometimes. if you overwhelm it with a big enough data stream, it'll just stop what you're copying/moving and you have to start over again. it doesn't happen too often, but it's still there.

and the "HD Audio" is definitely not HD in any way. don't buy this for that "feature" at all...

Other Thoughts: it's worth it if it's on sale, but the regular price seems pretty high for it's particular level of simplicity. judge for yourself
