Often this reader is asking me to format my cards or even doesn't see them at all, though when I put them in my old reader everything works OK. for me it is a junk, I gave it 2 stars because it is still working sometimes. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Hard to hold and use. Other Thoughts: Cheaper alternatives exist that make more sense, particularly the Pretec P240 here on Newegg. Did you find this review helpful? All surfaces are rounded and it must be held to insert and eject connections. I suppose you could carry it in your pocket. I sent it right back without use.
