1 out of 5 eggsStrange coincedence

Pros: Very fast when it worked. Comes with a 2.5-3.5 adapter and sata cable

Cons: Crucial drives are faster and similarly priced. Going to have to RMA this because it has run slower and slower since I got it, with freezing problems becoming more common. Ever since I upgraded my CPU and RAM, it has become completely unresponsive, even after formatting and reinstalling Windows. Strangely enough, another reviewer here mentions the Phenom CPU and an ASUS mobo. That is exactly the same hardware config I have. Go with a different brand maybe?

5 out of 5 eggsGood SSD

Pros: Fast, Small, Quiet, Reasonable price

Cons: Expensive (though not necessarily compared to other SSDs)

Other Thoughts: I'm using this drive for SSD caching on an Intel Z68 chipset. It has made a significant speed improvement on my system.

5 out of 5 eggsSnappy and Stable

Pros: - This drive was simple to install and leaves plenty of room in my case to add several more.
- Opening the box, I was fond of the compactness, weight and fell.
- I have installed my OS(Windows 7 Ultimate) and all my primary drivers on it with an acceptable amount of space left.
- Since installing, Windows performance score for drive data transfer went from 5.6 t0 7.1
- System starts up in under 20 seconds (under 10 excluding BIOS)
- Shuts down in about 8 seconds
- All general processes with Windows are 'snappy' and highly responsive
- Highly recommend SSD (particularly Intel for reliability, stability, and clean presentation) for improving general performance and security of your system

Cons: - Yes the price is high, but the technology is growing and I feel that it is becoming more and reasonably priced. Although I would prefer to pay less (who wouldn't?), the price of newer technology is always high.
- At this point I have had no issues with the drive.

4 out of 5 eggsTo small in size for win 7

Pros: Fast as hell. Great for what it is.

Cons: To small for windows 7 Ultimate. It leaves something to be desired with size and if you go below 1gig left of space, it lags to hell.

Other Thoughts: It would have been nice to have an OS usage chart (how much it takes up) listed with this item. I would have purchased the larger drive if I had known it wasn't going to be enough.

5 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Have had the drive for a couple of months now... so far so good. On 24/7, always lightning fast.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I have this as the OS and application drive for a media server and it works great. Have the X-25 160gb drives running in my MacBook Pro and as the OS and application drive on my desktop. Haven't had any issues with them so I stuck with Intel for this box too. No regrets.

1 out of 5 eggsTrash.

Pros: Hmm.

Cons: Doesn't work with an Asus mobo/Phenom CPU. Have spent hours and hours trying to get this to work. Gave up and RMA'd it back, will be buying a second OCZ SSD, at least I know those work, as I bought one a week ago.

Other Thoughts: Never liked Intel to begin with, now I know why.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine

Pros: Purchased for Win 7 upgrade on Lenovo ideapad S10. Enough room for OS, Office, Firefox, T-Bird, Picasa, TrueCrypt and a few other apps I need for traveling. Performance seems much better than it was on XP, but this is never going to a fast computer.

Cons: No problems thus far.

Other Thoughts: Includes a SATA cable and power supply adapter, as well as an adapter bracket to mount in a 3.5" bay. No surprises; acts just like any other hard drive. I haven't tried the software available on the Intel web site (they include some links).
