4 out of 5 eggsSolid, SSD

Pros: Great speed opens up large programs quickly ( photoshop, illustrator, Revit, Rhino....)

Cons: too small, even though im only running the os and my programs from this drive the temp files are so large that i constantly have to delete them to keep enough space on the drive.

2 out of 5 eggsFalse Hour run time

Pros: -Was Fast but not as fast as SATA 3 6gs

Cons: *** Died after only 6 months use***
1,200,000 life span is a Joke. No SSD Drive on the market will last this long. The cells will dry up by then.

Got about 100,000 hours out of it only,

_gave this 2 eggs because of the short lengh of the products life span this doesn't mean they will all do this.

There is 6g SATA SSds and new ones with better tech/software support

Other Thoughts: This was a great product, but it's an electronic item so like all electronics they fail when you least expect it.

If your Looking to upgrade to an SSD from a HDD, Then I recommend this item.

When buying an SSD for your OS 120 gigs is fine. If it's for GAMING!! Buy a large SSD like 240 gigs and above.

Games like WoW, Guild wars, and new games can take up 30 gigs per game, sometimes more.

2 out of 5 eggsOne point on the curve

Pros: Quick read and write. Easy to install Worked great while it worked.

Cons: MTBF: 1,200,000 hours
Actual time before failure: 6224.4 hours

Completely bricked at 6224.4 hours. Of course, it is an ssd... always back up your drives :)

Other Thoughts: Switched replacement to a samsung. Will review it as well at some point... So far the samsung is noticeably quicker than this intel ssd was!

5 out of 5 eggsReliable SATA 2 SSD

Pros: We have been using this SSD in our office server with SQL for over 14 months, computer on 24-7. Absolutely no problem, not a single SSD related issue so far. As with any hard drive, always back up your data.

Cons: Expensive when new.

Other Thoughts: Been using Intel X25-M and 320 for a while, some X25-M have been deployed for over 2 years in our office and warehouse without any single issue. In fact, the only issue we've experienced was an one time system lock with the newer 240GB Intel 520, computer wasn't able to resume after sleep without a hard re-boot. SSDs are in general getting more affordable, but you get what you pay for. When buying heavily discounted SSD on sales, think twice.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for SATA2

Pros: Good speed, easy install, no issues at all in the machine we installed it in.

Cons: No real negatives, just remember that this is a SATA2 SSD. If you have a board that supports SATA3, you really need to get an SSD that uses that. They are quite a bit faster.

Other Thoughts: Don't forget that an OEM doesn't come with a mount. I used a Rosewill RX-C200P from Newegg and it worked great.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Improvement!

Pros: I threw this lil' guy into my HP Mini Netbook, after the stock HDD took a dump. Now, a broken-in install of Ubuntu 10.10 will load from a cold-start in under 15 seconds, Battery life is extended to ~8 hours, and the whole computer stays quite a bit cooler! Honestly, with how much a netbook/laptop gets tossed around, it's foolish to not install an SSD! The 320 series is treating Me very well!

Cons: None, really.

Other Thoughts: Don't be squemish about the GB/$ of SSD. The upgrade to your system is more than worth it. You can also use an old HDD as a back-up for your "secret, important documents and files".

5 out of 5 eggsLooks like a regular HD to OS

Pros: it works seemlessly and almost like a RAM drive

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: It's expensive, but I don't regret buying it

5 out of 5 eggsReliable SSD

Pros: This SSD works flawlessly. The performance score is a little lower than other brand. I chose this one since since it is installed in my business computer and Intel 320 Series SSD are more reliable.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: The reliability was computed based on the newegg review statistics (do it yourself before you buy any SSD).

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Before installing this drive, my average boot time was around 1 minute 20 seconds, with this SSD, my average boot time is 14 seconds! This really is a great drive for average users who want to remove the major bottleneck of hard disk drives, and get good performance out of their systems.

Cons: No TRIM Support, Expensive, Data read/write speeds could be better. Not a great drive for users who are serious about getting the best performance from an SSD. Higher cost per GB with SSD

Other Thoughts: All in all, this drive is a major improvement from the old WD 750GB 5400RPM drive I previously used.
