4 out of 5 eggsTwo years in, still going strong

Pros: -Great SSD, solid build quality
-Package includes everything you need from SATA cable to 3.5 tray adapter

Cons: -A little more expensive than newer SSD cards

Other Thoughts: Overall this was a great card, I have since upgraded to a 250GB just because I got a good deal on one, but I never came close to filling the 180GB. The quality was great but you do end up paying a little extra for it. I would recommend any Intel SSD.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome in RAID 0

Pros: Got some incredible speeds. Upwards of 750 mb/s read, and 500 mb/s write.

Cons: Unfortunately one of them error-ed out in 48 hours of installment.

Other Thoughts: Good thing: Newegg is currently replacing the one that started acting funky.

5 out of 5 eggsIntel is good

Pros: Fast.
My i5 desktop system, from pushing the power button to the desktop, is up in approximately 12 seconds, and everything else loads...BAM! Fast!

Cons: No Cons.

Other Thoughts: Intel makes nice reliable SSD's

4 out of 5 eggsreliable but slow

Pros: Reliable - not an ounce of trouble since I took it out of the box and installed it last November

5-year warranty

Cons: Slowest of more than 15 SSD's i've purchased last couple years. Still faster than your average spinner but not typical SSD performance from my experience.

Yes, it's running in AHCI mode. TRIM is enabled, and I've run the Intel Toolbox tools.

Other Thoughts: System:
AMD FX-8320
ASUS M5A99X EVP R2.0
16GB (2 x 8) Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
ASUS R7 250 1GB GDDR5
Intel 530 Series 180GB MLC SATA III
etc.

Faster than a mechanical by a lot.

Cons: Same price per GB as my Toshiba ssd, yet noticeably slower.

Other Thoughts: Expected better from Intel.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome as advertised

Pros: This thing, after reshuffling all my booting sequence and all the partitions and stuff, is basically screaming fast. I was booting to desktop in minutes, now I'm booting to desktop in mere seconds. It's extremely satisfying.

Cons: None that matter. Or at all, even.

5 out of 5 eggsPerformance from Intel

Pros: Fast for read and write. Boot around 8sec with Windows 8.1 x64 I was going to buy an Samsung Evo when this Intel 530 turn in special.I was looking for a SDD with the better spec and Intel did suprise me alot with this one.

Cons: The SDD is still loose in the backet.

Other Thoughts: Would like to see Intel SSD less expensive because we can get other SSD for 30-80$ cheaper

5 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: As a gamer I love the speed that this HD gives me. I play some MMO's and games that before had long loading screens and large resource downloads but now I dont even notice any loading screens and perfect for impatient people like me.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsDecent performance for the price

Pros: I got it on sale which made the price the primary determining factor.
Solid Intel validation and warranty.
SandForce controller is solid performer for most workloads.

Cons: Middle of the pack performance. Higher performing drives, such as my favorite the Samsung 840 Pro, are noticeably faster but the price reflects that.

Other Thoughts: I already need a larger size, but that's my own fault.
