This is a yellow colored, medium sized, no-frills, plastic, light weight, well-built feeling, USB flash drive. It is housed in the current basic Mushkin/Memorex style plastic case with a clear cap. It is slender enough to be used side by side in adjacent USB ports. The web page description omits mention that it includes a “password” program, and a password program manual in PDF format. There is a very dim activity light inside the case that I can see through the thick, barely-translucent case walls only if I cup my hands around the drive or turn off the room lights. The drive I received works just fine and the read and write speeds “seem” to be quite sufficient. I haven’t tried the password software. Cons: Alert ! This is not the drive described on the Newegg web page at the time of this writing. It matches the picture, however. The description apparently belongs to some other USB Drive. This drive DOES NOT have a “Reinforced, aluminum lanyard loop”. It is molded plastic. The cap DOES NOT “fit on the back of the drive to prevent loss”. It doesn’t fit anywhere except on the USB connector itself. This drive DOES NOT have a “Cool, wrap-around blue LED indicates drive status”. That wrap around light feature is found in other Memorex models like 09077, 09097, and 98105, listed on Newegg, and on the previous model of the mini travel drive. The activity light on this model is similar to the standard internal LED used within this basic Mushkin/Memorex style case, which is depicted in the product picture. Other Thoughts: I have observed that at the time of this writing, this drive is 40 to 50 percent more expensive than other basic 4GB drives listed on Newegg.
