3 out of 5 eggsIt's Not a Class 4 SD Card (Anymore)

Pros: It's SanDisk. Up to 30MB/s (according to package). Lifetime limited warranty. 4GB.

Cons: Apparently SanDisk has silently upgraded this model to Class 6 performance -- I bought this card because it was described as Class 4. And I guess I am going to have to keep the card, as I have to pay return shipping even though the description is wrong.

Other Thoughts: Over-clocked Raspberry Pi's like corrupting the file system on Class 6 and Class 10 SD cards. So thanks for the silent speed upgrade, SanDisk, but that change made this card incompatible with my application.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good memory card for my new digital camera. Plugged in and worked right away!

Cons: What I use this card for would be considered very basic use so I have not done any speed tests as others mentioned but I have not had any performance issues with the card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Fast Card

Pros: Fast card. Testing my card it writes at a speed of just over 9MB/sec, which is twice as fast as my other SD cards.

Cons: Doesn't write at 15MB/sec.

Other Thoughts: Card is listed as a class 4 on the packaging and the card itself, although it's faster than the general speed of a class 4 card. According to wikipedia, this card should be closer to a class 10. Good price for a fast card. Newegg shipping was also very fast.

2 out of 5 eggsclass 2, not class 4.

Pros: cheap for what you get.

Cons: not actually a class 4.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this card to use in my canon HD camcorder that requires a class 4 or higher sdhc card, however when I got the card it was only a class 2 in a class 4 package. so I now have a useless class 2 card.
so bottom line, if you need a class 4 sdhc card, stay away from this one!

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says on the tin

Pros: Fast reads, used with ready boost it speeds up my ASUS 1005HA netbook a little bit. I'm not sure what kind of benckmark to run to quantify it though.

Cons: None really...

Other Thoughts: Popped it in 4 months ago and haven't had any issues.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me.

Pros: The 15MB/s is for transfer speed and the package states that the "write speed" is lower (probably 9MB/s as stated by a previous reviewer). The pro is that this works in my Canon Power Shot S3IS, which is an older 6mp camera purchased here at the Egg several years ago. It also works in my daughters Canon Power Shot A720IS 8mp camera. Hence, the statement on the package "ideal for high-megapixel cameras".

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: I did not buy this at Newegg but I should have checked, since Newegg had the better price with free shipping to boot! I paid two dollars more plus tax at a local Office store. This is a best buy (no pun intended) here at Newegg. I've had no issues with previous Sandisk SD cards (2GB) I've used over the last several years.

5 out of 5 eggsGood size, great price

Pros: Bought this SD card december of 08, and its still running solid. Very quick, but when the battery of my camera gets low it won't power it. I'm guessing with the speed comes a power requirement.

Cons: Voltage requirement...

Other Thoughts: Works great, but to the previous poster that wrote "Installed OS"... Don't come back here complaining that it failed 3 months down the road. These are meant for storage and not for the millions of write cycles an operating system will put it through. It WILL kill the card, just so you know. What you want is an SSD HDD. If you have an EEE PC or a rip-off of the EEE PC, then an SD card is still not the best choice, there are MiniPCI SSD Drives available.

It'll work for a while, just be sure to back up your data and don't complain is all I'm saying...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Installed SSD, installed OS, all is well. Quick and quiet.

Cons: Since this is still fairly new technology, not sure what to expect as far as durability over time.
