1 out of 5 eggsWay Too Bright

Pros: Works fine

Cons: Puts out too much light

Other Thoughts: The light inside of this thing is WAY too bright! If you have it plugged into anything in a dark room it will stick out like a sore thumb. I tried using it as a memory cord for my Xbox and I couldn't stand it. With the bright light flashing and blinking all the time it was extremely distracting!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap as chips, and works well.

Cons: Doesn't cook or clean.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con, but the plastic casing seems a bit light. For the price your not going to get bomb proof.

4 out of 5 eggsBonus no U3

Pros: This is the second one I ordered and it shipped blank - no U3 nag screen.

Cons: I still think they should be priced around $5.00.

Other Thoughts: Reasonably Durable - functional - sure don't miss floppys!

4 out of 5 eggsGood drive

Pros: I actually have two of these drives and use them almost daily (I work in IT at a university). The drive is pretty fast and cheap, plus 4 gigs is big enough for music or even a decent Linux disto.

Cons: U3 is awful. It enables some auto-play stuff and what not and it's pointless. I make it a point to remove it off of any of these drives that I get.

Other Thoughts: In all honestly you would be better off as far a price per gig of storage to get an 8 or 16 gig drive.

5 out of 5 eggsHey SanDisk, here's an idea...

Pros: Retractable USB plug is nice, no cap to lose.

Cons: No dust cover to keep pocket lint from getting into the USB plug.

Other Thoughts: Hey SanDisk, here's an idea... Look at the way the retractable Sharpie markers work. If you made the plug retract a little deeper into the case, you could have a little trap door close over the end to keep the plug safe and clean.

5 out of 5 eggsoverall good

Pros: the read speeds are amazing! get an average of about 15 MB/s!!! Lasted almost three year with only two small problems(one was my friend's fault though)

Cons: just performed a real life speed test, at first got about .7 MB/s as soon as I plugged it in, then after about a min was up to 1.1 MB/s and stayed there for the rest of the 1.2 GBs left.

Other Thoughts: if you want just a casual flash drive it is good, but if you want a fast write I'd go with a Patriot XT series. It will last a long time, my third memory product from San Disk. but expect it to have one glitch, all three had one, but no more after(unless user error).

5 out of 5 eggsNo Cap? No Problem

Pros: Costing only $10 its hard to complain. However I was worried about it not having a cap and dust getting in the slot. Well, I accidentally dropped it inside my REALLY dusty computer [while I was trying to get the front usb ports to work]. Blew into it like those old fashion gameboys and it still works like a champ

Cons: A littler slower than the top-of-the-line ones [but also cheaper]

Other Thoughts: I was also worried about the port sliding back in. It has a simple locking mechanism that prevents that and you barely have to push down on the slide back tab to retract it

5 out of 5 eggsGood Flash Drive

Pros: Its a flash drive. You stick it in and it works.

It doesn't break even after my ridiculous antics. Washing machine. Vietcong. Late night infiltrations into Iranian nuclear facilities. Clubbing at the Jersey Shore.

And it still works like a flash drive is supposed to.

Cons: It can't wingman me?

Other Thoughts: Great drive for the money. I would recommend to others.
