Pros: Pretty darn good product. Works well for what its intended and the pesky preinstalled software is easy to remove by formatting the drive.

Cons: No outstanding cons that I can find.

Other Thoughts: An 8GB Drive is what I'd recommend to someone if they need a basic drive. I plan to get one with a higher capacity at some point, but for now it works for my intentions.

Pros: Decent quality for a reasonable price.

Cons: Retractable feature may become a problem after a lot of use.

Other Thoughts: It does what a flash drive is supposed to do.

Pros: The unit is rugged. Can be dropped and banged into when it is sticking out of a computer.

Cons: Big but you can't lose it in the drawer or purse.

Pros: I have owned the previous version of this 8GB model for over a year, plus had a 2GB Cruzer for maybe 4 years before that (since U3 was the rage). I have no complaints and only replaced the 2GB with the 8GB to gain more space and because I was starting to fear the wear on the USB contacts aging/thinning.

Mine has just survived the wash machine and clothes dryer for the SECOND TIME! Did need to use compressed air to blow the lint out of the USB connector. You probably should NOT try this on purpose.

Cons: Perhaps larger than it needs to be, but then I tend to see small USB drives == slower performance.

Other Thoughts: I run PortappleApps applications from this, which allows me to run LibreOffice, Gimp, KeyPass, and lots of other main-stream tools on the fly. I would certainly buy another one.

Pros: Everything about this, very reliable. I got my first 512k USB drive from SanDisk in around 1998-2001 whatever the first year they made them, and I still have it. That drive works like brand new, and I only have purchase this company since, and this latest model i got have to say its great. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a decent speed USB drive for everyday computing.

Cons: Only one con, and it's the same as the other folks mentioned. That is the retractable feature. Doesn't lock in place after a while.

Other Thoughts: I received this item for Christmas, and have only used about a half dozen times before it completely failed. It had never held more than 4gb (despite being an 8gb drive) Though I figured it was just packaged (wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth).

I generally wouldn't complain about a gift however it failed while importing my personal settings/files during a complete system drive format and upgrade...

Pros: good space for price, reliable brand, feels not too cheap, reads fast. does what its supposed to

Other Thoughts: havent used one of the two i got yet but the one i did use i used to install updated bios and drivers to my new desktop build,, formatted it as i always do i have no use for the preinstalled security/software stuff and had no issues unlike a few other brands that once formatted the partition would vanish so id have to create new partitions to use em,, not with this one...

Pros: It's Reliable. After more than three years both of the ones I own are still working as well as when I bought them. Never had a problem with data loss or having them not be recognized by a computer.

Cons: Slider mechanism doesn't work that well. Since they don't lock into place you are forced to hold the slider while plugging them in. This is fine in some USB ports, but makes it impossible in the bottom port(s) when they are stacked on top of each other. It also makes them unusable in cases where the ports are recessed. That essentially eliminates using them in 90% of the ports on the computers that I regularly deal with.

Slow. Read speeds are about what write speeds are on the PNY and Kingston flash drives I own, with write speeds even slower.

Other Thoughts: Overall not a bad flash drive if all you are concerned with is reliability and your USB ports are open so you can plug them in. Otherwise, there are better units for the same money (or even less).

Pros: It works. Bought mine at Wal-mart.

Cons: The dongle connector can be bent like a mm, but I guess as long as you don't bend it too much, it won't be trouble. I also don't like the portable apps thing they have on the drive.
