Cons: I wish the plastic did not scratch so easily.
Someone should make a flash drive out of gorilla glass like the iPhone 3/4. It would be indestructible and the best looking drive ever made.
even though it is capless, they should still provide a cover to protect it from water, crud, etc.

Other Thoughts: The speeds are highly dependent on your source/destination drive. My Samsung 840 can copy from this drive at nearly 1gb/s. 1gb files move instantaneously.
My 10k raptor raid setup can transfer at over 220mb/s
My Toshiba 2tb can transfer at 170mb/s
USB chipsets make a difference too.
I tested on 2 different etron usb 3.0 chipsets. one integrated and one pci-e, the speeds were roughly the same.
USB 2.0 speeds top at around 80mb/s.

Pros: 11 out of 10. 180/110MB read/write with ATTO Disk Benchmark. SanDisk states up to 190MB/s read and 110MB/s write and my scores are right in line with that! I installed a Windows 7 .iso to the drive to boot from and I'm about to test an install to an SSD. I am about to be amazed. Also, I booted a live Linux .iso in 45ish seconds, as if it were installed on a HDD. The work it performs in USB 2.0 slots is great too! Caps everything at 35/35MB read/write. The USB lever switch is solid feeling and feels "the 4-letter word for risque" when I use it. I. Love. This. Drive.

Cons: Why it didn't come with a lanyard is beyond me. Really, just throw one in haha. I have a lanyard for it though. The drive is too awesome to drop an Egg. It deserves every Egg. Sandisk did very well.

Other Thoughts: I don't use the 2GB of Cloud storage that comes with the purchase of the drive. Seriously SanDisk should just include a lanyard instead if you ask me. :) Also I have not used the encryption feature and probably won't. But seems like a good feature nevertheless.

Shipping from Newegg this time took a while but I patiently waited for this gem. Please don't hesitate, just buy the drive!

The formatted capacity is 29.7GB.

Pros: When it worked, it stored a lot, and it moved it quickly.

Cons: Bricked. For the month preceding it's demise, it would occasionally lock up computers when it was plugged in. Last week though, it finally became unreadable. While some computers won't even recognize it now, others will say that it needs to be reformatted to be usable. If you attempted a reformat, it will fail.

I'm now out around $50 (luckily, most of my data is backed up). I got some benefit from it, but < 6 months is not worth it for the money. Very disappointed. I paid extra money for the name "SanDisk" because I thought I was getting a quality product. Lesson learned.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money. If you're thinking this drive will somehow be magically better because it's a brand name, you might end up sadly mistaken. I would recommend another brand.

Pros: Plug and play operation, absolutely flawless integration. It is faster than some older hard drives!!

Cons: Sensitive push button mechanism requires a bit of getting use to. If any pressure is applied the usb interface will retreat backward.

Other Thoughts: Extreme is a fitting name for this device. I tested my old sandisk 2.0 with a 450 MB file... and compared the two, 2.0 was 27 seconds while the extreme 3.0 was instantaneous with zero loading screen... I was amazed.

Pros: This is a great product. I also have the same one in 16GB. Please note that the 32GB write speed shows110 MB/s while the 16GB version shows write speed of 55MB/s. Both are great products.

Test at native USB3.0 port and SSD installed Laptop. Don't blame Sandisk if you are still using USB2.0 or you are throttled by the HDD.

Cons: Size, kinda big. But among all other high-performance USB3.0 flash drive, this one is OK

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for.

This guy is $10 more than other 32GB USB3.0 drive like A-DATA S102 Pro, but you get much higher read and write speed(S102 pro gets w:30/r:70 while this guy shows w:110/r:180).

Cons: The flash drive is a bit larger than i prefer

Pros: Super fast drive, Faster than advertised. Got around 115mb/second write and 260mb/second read in Atto.

Cons: Packaging was super hard to open, the two pieces of plastic were melted together. Had to use scissors.Larger than I thought it would be.

Pros: 32GB, fast transfer rates

Cons: None as far as I can tell

Other Thoughts: I bought this after my TEAM 32GB USB3.0 flash drive died after only 6 months of use. I also have a regular non-Extreme Sandisk 32GB drive. The regular Sandisk drive is SO SLOW which is why I went looking for something faster. So far everything is great with this new drive. I have had a few Sandisk drives and none have ever failed on me, so I somewhat trust this one.

Pros: + High speeds
+ Capacity
+ Price

Cons: - The case its placed looks like its not gonna stand for more than a year...

Other Thoughts: This is not enough to take away one egg though; i my perspective it should be more solid - would make me happier.
