No online check as with other companies, you have to submit an online request just to find out if you are elibible. Also, you MUST have receipt where you purchased the USB drive to prove you are within the warranty period. Here's the requirements verbatim: 1. Name 2. Email address (required for RMA approval) 3. Phone number 4. Ship to address (No P.O. boxes are accepted) 5. Product part number, color and capacity 6 Date of purchase (required for WARRANTY eligibility) 7. Place of purchase 8. Serial number of product 9. Proof of Purchase (may be required in certain cases) All in all I'm glad I had a drive go out on me from this company, I will NEVER buy another product from them again and hope you will make a better decision by knowing the red-tape you have to get past in order to file a claim.
