Cons: 6 months after I bought it and it's bricked. How? I have no idea. How can you get a solid state chip get bricked? I can read from it, but I can't write to it, which is really the key thing.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it.

Pros: inexpensive, good brand name

Cons: doesn't work with WIN7, at least for me.
It can be seen in Disk Manager, but doesn't register in 'Computer' at all.
It cannot therefore be accessed for normal operation.

This is simply not acceptable for such a simple generic USB drive.
I googled and found the Sandisk forum full of reports of this and notes that Sandisk has known this for quite a while and not moved to fix it. There were proposed workarounds on the forum, but seriously, I'm going to spend time on nonsense like this?

Would you spend time making a ballpoint pen or butane lighter work?

I returned all four of them after testing one. I am bitter about the return shipping cost/ restocking fee, but am not willing to suffer with poor performance from such a simple device.

I'll think twice before I buy Sandisk products again.

Other Thoughts: I was forced to give it one egg just to post the review, but actually consider it a waste of plastic and silicon.

Pros: works great.. big enough to transfer stuff and great price.

Cons: like to have a cover for the contacts, but that's just me.

Pros: Fair price/size. Sandisk quality.

Cons: Flashing red light. Only 5 mbs write speed.

Other Thoughts: I got two of these, when I formatted both, one formatted to 119GB and the other to 116GB. Does anyone have any idea why???

Pros: Small, Plug an Play. 128GB

Cons: Slower than the one it replaced, takes forever to load my OS. Not big enough for Games and Photoshop

Other Thoughts: Seriously though, needed a new thumb drive. 128G at a good Price Point.

Pros: Sandisk has a history of reliable memory. Read speeds are typical of usb 2.0

Cons: Very very slow writes. Other reviews have covered it, but writes are from 5-10MB/sec depending on file size. This is using USB 3.0 ports on a Windows 7, I7 computer.. ......somewhat glacial.

Other Thoughts: Inexpensive storage for 128Gig, and reads are in the typical 20's MB/sec, but to write you have to walk away and come back later........So for bulk storage that is not written to often or with large files (but hey this is 128Gigs) it is a good tool.

Pros: Price when Newegg puts them on sale. Space is large for the price. Easy to use and so far has been an excellent product.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Gargantuan amount of storage

Cons: Transfer speed a little slow (but not a major concern).

Other Thoughts: Transferred 1GB in 3m 20s at a rate of 5.12MB per second. A 15GB transfer took nearly an hour. I bought this drive for it's size, and not for it's speed, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Pros: works OK. good price.

Cons: none so far
