5 out of 5 eggsnice card, i recommend

Pros: This is a very good memory card with great read/write speeds. No issues with it in my Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch. I use it for a lot of my apps and pics/video witnessed no lag time.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsOne month ownership-Works fine.

Pros: It works. It is faster than my old Sandisk class 2 that came with my phone. I haven't ran any speed tests. I have only opened the package and put it in my phone and the media scanning that my phone does on the microsd card, whenever I turn it on, is faster than it was. With memory cards there is not much to say. It works or it doesn't. It is fast enough or it isn't. It dies rather inconveniently taking your information that you did not backup with it or it doesn't. And yes, i know that a memory card never dies conveniently.

Cons: The only thing I can think is maybe that the packaging could be easier to get into. It wasn't as difficult as some packaging I have seen with the Fort Knox packaging, but it gave me decent fight. The problem is you cannot go all out on the package because there is a little memory card that you are trying not to that excludes skilsaws, hammers, powerdrills, blowtorches, and the such.

Other Thoughts: Other extraneous thoughts, I think this card just not small enough yet. I am waiting for the card that I need a microscope to see and install. And that card would have a microsd card adapter that would fit into a sd card adapter which would fit into the USB adapter which would fit into the USB slot on my computer. Just a thought. :)

2 out of 5 eggsiffy

Pros: Seams to be fast...
Wasn't breaking the bank for it.

Cons: The speed may be hindered by the Droid 3 its in, though I doubt it. Loaded 2.5 GB using USB through the Droid and was done in 5 mins. Not lightning fast but ok. Biggest issue is reliability. A couple weeks into using it, all of the files moved to the "LOST.DIR" meaning corruption of some sort and I was forced to reformat using the phone,Done. Today it completely blanked on me like it wasn't there. I reseated the card and it seams most or all of the files came back. Its iffy and I was expecting better from PNY. Had a Transcend card and is still working great in my OG Droid 2 years later. I'd buy them again after this.

1 out of 5 eggsunreliable, lost data

Pros: cheap, fast

Cons: fails & loses all data

Other Thoughts: I ran this card in my Acer tablet. For a couple of months it worked fast & flawlessly. Then one day it stopped working. It could not be mounted and read by my tablet or by any other device, all data lost.
It's under warranty, but why exchange and give PNY a second chance to lose all my data?

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Fast: read ~18MB/s, write 10MB/s

Cons: Started failing within first month

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a new 3D Fuji camera. It seemed to work fine on write, but when I started reviewing my pictures on the camera (unfortunately, just after the Newegg return window), it started throwing 'read errors'. Now it's clear when I copy files off of the card that it's reading different values for the same bytes every time I read the same file! (using BeyondCompare).
Also, I have a number of pictures that are 're-organized' by the card: a given pictures seems to have just 'lost' some of the data on one row, shifting the entire bottom 70% of the photo over to the left about 50%! (repeatable) I did not have trouble with the previous memory card.
Really disappointed - this card had a perfect score when I bought it only 45 days ago - now there is clearly a bad batch out there, based on the negative reviews that have shown up in just the last month.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Large storage, class 10, very fast!

Cons: Maybe not a con, but I really needed an sd card adaptor and this one comes without one.

Other Thoughts: Should add an sd card adaptor.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed within 2 months of buying

Pros: It holds quite a bit of data, it transfers quicker than Class 2,4,6 MicroSD cards and Newegg is always good about getting the products I order to me quickly. Unfortunately for me, that's where the Pros end.

Cons: These may be prone to malfunction, either that or I got a bad chip which indicates a QC failure. In either case I am not happy with PNY about it. The life expectancy of these cards should be longer than 2 months.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this on 8/4/11 and received it on 8/8/11 I copied less than 1GB to the card and haven't really done any significant reading\writing since. Around 9/21/11 I started receiving errors that the "External SD card was unexpectedly removed". Trust me, the card wasn't removed.

In between errors I checked and was still able to read from the card. Deciding I'd had enough of this, I figured I'd dismount it and reseat it in hopes of resolving the problem. I figured worst case, I can just reformat the card to correct any glitches the Android OS may be causing. I went through and dismounted it via the OS and that's when it decided to become completely useless. It's no longer readable in my phone, or in other readers\adapters. I have multiple other MicroSD cards(SanDisk)1/2GB cards that work fine. This card sucks, I think I'll probably stick with Sandisk. I'd advise against ordering this product.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: DOA, couldn't be read or formatted by 5 different devices, as soon as it was plugged in the first time it got extremely hot.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully the replacement will work... Seems like all these class 10 cards are prone to problems

2 out of 5 eggsNot the speed that was advertised

Pros: Big, relatively cheap

Cons: I've tested this in a stock Droid, Droid Charge, Win 7 box (with 2 different adapters) and netbook running Ubuntu. At best I got a 10% boost over my 2 year-old OEM Class 2 micro sd card that came with the Droid. My wife's Class 4 obliterates it. This was a total waste. I kept the same capacity and gained pretty much nothing for $30.00.

Other Thoughts: Obviously most peoples' work because it's harder to get slower than a Class 2.
