2 out of 5 eggsFailed at 8 months

Pros: Great size, great speed.

Cons: Failed at 8 months. None of my readers can open it. Most of the data is backed up, so it's just waiting to order another 32 gig card at this point.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Large capacity in a tiny package, good read/write speeds. This card performed great in my HTC Incredible and is now being re-purposed for Raspberry Pi (see other thoughts).

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I originally bought this to use in my HTC Incredible and it worked very well for music/picture/video storage as well as playback and recording, even after the Incredible got the update that enabled 720p video recording. Since then, Google Music has removed my need for music storage, and my new HTC Rezound came with a 16 GB card (as well as more internal storage) so I am now planning to re-purpose this card for use with Raspberry Pi with an adapter.

I haven't done any "real" testing, but while preparing this card for Raspberry Pi, win32diskimager was reporting a full 10 MB/s write speed for most of the time, only occasionally dropping down to 4-6. However, while reading from the card, the highest speed it ever got was slightly above 17 MB/s, though it never dropped lower than 16.

1 out of 5 eggsUnreliable

Pros: High capacity

Cons: Doesn't last

Other Thoughts: Died after three months of light use. Unfortunately I took it out and promptly lost it--no warrantee return for me...

2 out of 5 eggssecond the not for HTC Evo 4G

Pros: Got a great deal

Cons: This biggest con is that it can't write video fast enough - almost every vid has audio/video sync issues (nothing new was installed, the only variable is the card)

Other Thoughts: If there's any work around I'd love to know it...as it is I'll be swapping it out for my old 8 gig :(

1 out of 5 eggsNot for Smartphones

Pros: Class 10 for High Speed Transfer

Cons: Twice in two months since I installed it in my Samsung Droid Charge phone it said it was damaged and needed to be reformatted. That means, unless I backed up all my pictures, Videos, apps, etc. that get stored to the SD card, they are lost. Thanks, PNY for losing my data.

Other Thoughts: Maybe it just wasn't meant for smartphone use. Either way, it was a complete waste of $60. Looks like it is now "Deactivated" in newegg's inventory...gee, I wonder why?

PNY is notorious for having memory problems - whether that be flash memory or RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product, works as intended in Motorola Atrix 2..

Pros: Class 10 MicroSD card, excellent for watching/recording HD videos that requires high bandwidth that exceeds the standard Class 2/4 MicroSD cards that usually comes with all Android phones. A true plug and play card, just insert it and the phone recognizes it instantly without reformating or doing anything else.

Cons: Other competing brand 32 GB Class 10 MicroSD cards can be had for cheaper.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this SD card for a Motorola Atrix 2. The phone's included 2 GB Class 4 MicroSD card proved to be a bottleneck for watching high resolution movies, and would cause the videos to occasionally stutter or pause. With this new card, the same videos played flawlessly and the card mounts and unmounts without any issues.

The only issue that I encountered was when I put the card in while the phone was on; it would unmount from the phone but would not mount to the computer via USB Mount. Rebooted the phone and the problem went away - my fault for swapping it with the phone on.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for your buck.

Pros: Good card - lots of space, and fast.

I've hit 9MB/s write, 30MB/sec read with SD tools on my Android phone.

It's a flash storage device, there's really not much else to say.

Cons: Doesn't come with an adapter to use in regular SD devices or USB... but those can be found for a few bucks, so it's not a major issue.

3 out of 5 eggsnot as fast as it could be

Pros: 32 gig SD card, worked straight out of the box with my HTC Sensation phone.

Cons: Slower than my 8 gig Class 4 Sandisk in all benchmark categories except sequential write.

Other Thoughts: This product was a replacement for a SanDisk 8 gb class 4 micro SD card. The PNY 32GB benchmarked at 17.77 megabytes/sec sequential read and 10.16 MB/sec sequential write, 17.53 random read (512k) and 0.632 random write (MB/s). The benchmarks were in CrystalDiskMark, 5 tests ran, 100 mb tests. My previous card, which was only class 4 got 18.56 sequential read, 5.284 sequential write, 18.16 random read and 1.205 random write.
