Pros: They work. Sort of.

Cons: They show up as two different types of memory in windows utilities. Only one of them operate at 1600MHz. See other thoughts for specifics.
Its one thing to be defective its another to not get what you payed for. My system actually performs better when I remove these two modules.

Other Thoughts: Module 1:
Type DDR3
Size 8192 MBytes
Manufacturer PNY Electronics
Max Bandwidth PC3-12800H (800 MHz)
Part Number 8GBH2X04E99924-15-

Module 2:
Type DDR3
Size 8192 MBytes
Manufacturer Unknown
Max Bandwidth PC3-10700 (667 MHz)
Part Number 8GBBNAUDEBA

3 out of 5 eggsBought 2, 1 Failed

Pros: The price was good. It worked well while it did. It looks good as well, I like the minimalistic black heatsink.

Cons: The modules default to 1333Mhz on my Asrock z77 Extreme 6. Manually or XMP settings corrects this though. Another pair from another manufacturer defaults to the rated 1600Mhz.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these in November 2013 and one module has failed in April 2014. Windows 8.1 began crashing with page fault errors and the module begins outputting errors at Test #2 using Memtest. The other module seems fine. I have submitted an RMA request to PNY so I'll see what comes of it.

4 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: It works?

Cons: CPU-Z readout says latency is 9-10-11. The product description says the latency is 9, so I would have expected the readout to be 9-9-9

Defaults to 1333 mhz instead of 1600(not sure if that is normal)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Good Memory, has heat sink to keep memory cool, wish it had the free movie download that the standard 1333mhz ddr3 memory comes with.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Even though my motherboard supports 1600mhz memory on my bios it shows 1333mhz, i don't know why my motherboard does this but no performance hit has occurred because of it.
