5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: I use this card to record video for my youtube channel/record live performances and take photos in my Canon 70D. Videos always record fast and with high quality. I can snap continuous RAW + Jpeg photos with very little if any buffer time.

Cons: Can get hot when recording HD 1080p Video. Heat has not interrupted or messed with the quality.

Other Thoughts: I am pleased with the price and performance of this card. If I purchase another it will be the 64 gb version.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome for music files and my Sandisk Clip+ 4g

Pros: Fast flawless playback, big storage in a tiny chip, Compatibility with my generic Sandisk mp3 player (the main purpose for purchasing).

Cons: No complaints.

Other Thoughts: My mp3 player states that there are 37737mbs of storage available. The total is bigger than my mp3 can recognize so i have to keep it below 32000mb for the sandisk to format properly. I can't say that I mind the extra space if i use this on another device and it still is compatible so, that doesn't matter. I will buy another one or bigger of the same when I need it.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for DSLR HD Video

Pros: Very fast
Reliable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These are fantastic for use with DSLR video. I had been using the recommended Sandisk Extreme SD cards on a Canon 6D, but was having continuous issues with data writing speeds being too slow, especially when using the higher data-rate "ALL-I" compression setting. I happened to have one of the PNY Elite cards that I put in the camera on a whim, and it turns out these cards work perfectly at the higher data-rates! I switched all my cards to the PNY Elite Performance 90MB/s and have had absolutely zero problems since.

5 out of 5 eggsFast Card

Pros: This is one fast puppy! I get up to 90+ MB/s read speed and up to 51+ MB/s write speed (slightly better than advertised) using NTFS format and ATTO Disk Benchmark. The speed with small files is exceptional. The reliability is very good, and I have not experienced any problems with formatting, recognizing the card, or bad sectors. This is a great deal and tough to beat!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use this in both my camera (great for high res pictures and HD video) and my laptop as a ReadyBoost device (32 GB is the most that can be used so far under Windows 8.1). Hopefully soon the super high end 100+ MB/s cards will fall in price enough to make them more affordable.

5 out of 5 eggsScreaming fast

Pros: These are the fastest SD cards I've ever seen, and that includes premium SanDisk cards. They're especially good at small block size read and write. Where most cards are hard pressed to turn in speeds of 500KB/sec @ 512 Byte block sizes, these write at 14.9MB/sec and read at 22.8MB/sec (Atto) Wow. I'm impressed. They reach full speed at 16KB and larger block sizes -- that's about 35-36MB/sec write and 82MB/sec read. AKA screaming fast. Also a plus, they come formatted in FAT32 without ANY junk on them. A root directory. That's it. PNY includes a plastic clamshell case.

Good work, PNY.

Cons: About the only thing anyone could gripe about is how hard the packaging is to open. You have to cut carefully with sharp scissors, which, I realize, some of you out there may not be allowed to have.

Other Thoughts: I bought only three of them. Regret not buying more when they were cheap.

Pros: Fastest SD card I've ever used.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It took 28 Gigs of mp3's without a hickup at speeds I'm not used to from a flash drive

5 out of 5 eggsIt seems as fast as my Sandisk

Pros: I have a Sandisk 8G SD that boasts 95MB/s read rate. Of course we have no idea what that translates to WRITE rates, but I know that when I do the 10-burst shots on my Sony NEX-5R, it takes about 3 times for me to attempt to hit the play button (to review) on both cards before it can show me the photos (each play hit is about 1.5 seconds to show "writing" warning). So they must be both flushing out and writing about the same rate.

Also, I know this to be true because my Sandisk 32GB SD 40MB/s takes at least 5 "play" hits before it shows up.

Cons: I really haven't met any yet. I hope it lasts as long as reputable Sandisk versions. I usually buy Transcend, but this PNY was on sale.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this for a cheaper alternative to the Sandisk line. The 32GB of theirs is fairly expensive. A lot faster than my Sandisk 32GB 40MB/s one and about identical to my 8GB 95MB/s one.
