Cons: There was one instance where my motherboard did not recognize it was connected. Can't say for sure if it was the drive or something else. It happened after a failed upgrade to Windows 10

Only 1,000,000 hours MBTF which is much lower than most major brands, my previous drives were 2,000,000

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a replacement for a pair of 256GB SATA III in a stripped RAID 0. I really have not noticed a difference between the speed of the RAID and this drive and I doubled the storage space.

I got an amazing deal on this due to an error in Newegg advertising, their loss was my gain.

Pros: Arrived in two days and graphics on drive are coo.l

Cons: This drive will not initialize. I tried both USB and SATA interfaces with Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems. The drive is recognized but needs to be initialized. When I attempt to do this, I get the error message "Device not ready" Nothing I did, including disabling the AHCI option in BIOS changed that.

Other Thoughts: I hope the next one works.

Pros: This SSD drive has great response rate, sped between applications, and easy to install and transfer your system over. I installed it on my Mac Mini late 2011 so I can update the unit. Make sure you research replacing the HD drive to an SSD drive before and use the correct software to image your drive.

Cons: When I first installed the drive it worked great. I went on vacation shut down my computer and when I returned the drive would not boot up. I had to re image the drive. Since then it periodically freezes and I have to force shutdown of the Mac Mini to get the computer to reboot. I purchased the Samsung drive for my MacBook Pro 2012 and never had an issue. Not sure if it is PNY's issue or the unit.

Other Thoughts: Who doesn't love SSD's and their speed, db's and power consumption or lack there of.
This ssd works at advertised speeds and is used as a gaming drive and loads games nicely.

Pros: Worked right out of the box. It is FAST ( you must re-install O/S to get full benefit of SSD). Used to replace aging HD in old Toshiba L305-S5894 laptop. My first SSD upgrade. Lots of storage, now. Newegg is great ! Bought it on sale .

Cons: None so far. Hopefully MTBF is for real.

Other Thoughts: Read reviews of others about ALL SSD upgrades. Seems to be that reinstalling the O/S is the best way to go for error free operation.

Itunes install = Under a minute
14GB File transfer from a USB 3 flash.... WOW FAST

Great price, couldn't say no.

Cons: nothing so far really, only time will tell.

Due to previous issues with other products I was never a fan of PNY, but if this baby holds up I'll be back for more.

Other Thoughts: Noticeably faster read/write than both the Corsair and Kingston SSD's in my other systems.

Other Thoughts: I would like to point out to inexperienced and newbie geeks that, coupling any hard drive/SSD and a specific graphics card, "Will not increase speed or performance on a proprietary level." Meaning, PNY should not lie about coupling their products to get the best performance because that is utterly false and asinine! The benefits of an SSD are read/write times as well as lifetime versus spinner hard drives. That being said, do your research before you believe what sales people say are usually just illiterate.
