1 out of 5 eggsOnly 1 yr Warranty

Pros: It was working fine until it failed.

Cons: Card failed after about 1 1/2 year use. Warranty is good for only 1 year. Also write performance was quite slow for claimed class 10 card. Maybe it was a sign that there was something wrong with card.

Other Thoughts: Look closely at the warranty folks. Next time I'll get one with lifetime warranty (most of them do).

1 out of 5 eggsFell apart, Ritek refused warranty repair

Pros: Cheap 16GB card, relatively fast - fast enough for use in a 60D and shooting RAW.

Cons: Flimsy, cheap construction. SDHC lock falls out weekly. Plastic housing looks like it's peeling apart. Garbage.

Other Thoughts: Ritek warranty support center really stinks. My cards are under warranty and have never been abused. Even though the cards have started to fall apart from cheap materials, Ritek refused to replace or even help. Bad, bad, bad service. They just lost a long-term customer who buys a LOT of memory cards.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works, but you might get a bad egg

Pros: Cheap and copies fairly well

Cons: First card died on me within 5 minutes of use as I was testing it in a camera. Nothing would recognize it after that. An RMA was filled out and Neweg replaced it. The replacement has been working nonstop since late November with no problems.

Other Thoughts: I copied 14GB worth of data to this card via my Dell's built-in SD card reader. It took 56 minutes to copy.

3 out of 5 eggsMatthew is right

Pros: None

Cons: This is a class 10 card that functions on par with sandisk class 6 cards.

Other Thoughts: If you want to know why you only have 14.9 GB showing up in windows it is because when you market storage space you market it as a decimal number. 16GB = 16,000,000,000 Bytes. The computer reads storage as binary so 16GB of decimal is equal to 14.9 GB binary (as the computer sees it). Do the math: Decimal - 16,000,000,000 Bytes / 1000 /1000 / 1000 = 16 GB,
Binary - 16,000,000,000 Bytes / 1024 / 1024 / 1024 = 14.9 GB.

4 out of 5 eggsMathew is Wrong

Pros: none

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Mathew, where do you get your math from? Your thinking is all backwards! You're making it sound like 16GB is 14,900,000,000 bytes (less then 16 mil). It's not, 16GB = 17,179,869,184 bytes. You get only 14.9GB of usable space on the SD card because of formatting. You loose capacity from it being formatted so Windows can read it. Da.....

1 out of 5 eggsRiData 16GB SDHC

Pros: NONE

Cons: Bought two of these for my new sony dsc-tx9.
Went on family trip to Cancun and took some amazing shots and HD video (7 days worth) on last day while recording HD video camera froze. I rebooted camera and all the photos/videos were gone! After getting home i tried numerous recovery software and nada. I've had numerous digital camera and never had any issues with my other brand name SD cards. I cant believe this happened!!

Other Thoughts: You def get what you pay for.
I WILL NEVER BUY A RI DATA or any other non brand name SD card again.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and works great for HD video

Pros: This 16GB Class 10 card works great in my Panasonic FZ35 camera, for both still and video shots. I'm very pleased, particularly for the money.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It is a great value, particularly at the price point.

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: works as expected.

Cons: needs to be cheaper.

Other Thoughts: Haven't done any speed test, probably won't bother. It's fast enough for my 6x digital camera and a few millisec won't kill me.

3 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: It's 16GB,and cheap. I used this in my Sanyo Xacti PD2, and it is fast enough for HD video 1920x1080 30p with 256Kbps audio.

Cons: Yep its slow. Class 10?

Other Thoughts: If you get RiDATA SD cards, you better get about 2 classes faster than you need.

5 out of 5 eggsCard is 16GB, it works, great price

Pros: It works fine, and it is indeed 16GB (which shows up as 14.9 GB because a GB is actually 1024 bytes- look up "GB" on wikipedia.com). I am using it in a Digitech JamMan Stereo Looper guitar pedal and it works fine. I can't vouch for read and write speed compared to other Class 10s but it seemed fast to me. It comes with a protective plastic snap case, and it even has a lock slider if you want to protect your data from accidental erasure or overwriting.

Cons: None that I can think of. If you need the fastest card you should check the benchmark test results reported by other users, some believe it not to be as fats as other Class 10s.

Other Thoughts: It was on sale at a cheaper price than other 16GB cards rated as Class 6 so I figured faster is better. It appears that the manufacturer has gotten their act together and is no longer plagued by 8GB cards mislabeled as 16GB that got sent to buyers in July-August 2010. Those were probably just a mistake made on a batch that slipped thru their QC. This one was definitely 16GB.
