Pros: I have purchased 4 of these for my Library and one for my personal use. Three of the Library flash drives are checked out by patrons and one is used for a large annual slideshow. The design is great, easy to put on a lanyard. The four owned by the Library have been used a lot over the past year, we've had absolutely no problems.

Cons: I can't think of any.

Pros: I own two, and I have dropped them, washed them and they still keep on ticking. I have had them for about 6 months.

Cons: Tranfer rates seem to be a bit slow but nothing unbearable.

Pros: Perfect for my keychain. I have had no problems with it since purchasing it. The twist and turn style of flash drive is very convenient.

Cons: I suppose that dust and debris could get into the usb stick since there is no cap.

Other Thoughts: I own 4 different flash drives and this is by far my favorite.

Pros: It looks nice and you can't lose the cap.

Cons: Horrible. Started to randomly lose communication with computers after 2 weeks, and then the autoplay would come on and ask what it should do with it, over and over. I formatted it, but problems continued. My 5 year-old flash drive has never had a problem. I would return it, but only paid $13 for it, so it's not worth my time.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Died in less than a month

Pros: no cap to keep up with or lose,8gb,and works everytime.

Cons: not a thing

Pros: Very nice design, looks and feels sturdy. The capless design and the way it flips out/stores is also cool (I have no idea why companies still make, and people still buy, flash drives with a removable/losable cap).
I'm not really into MEASURING speeds, because I find it hard to believe that a second or two difference is REALLY going to matter, but I am well satisfied that this drive reads/writes fast enough that I don't have time to think about if it's "slow" or not.

Cons: Lexar normally makes very good products, so I'm going to assume that I just got a bad unit. After about 2 months, a problem started where the drive would be auto-detected (the autoplay dialog would appear, as if I had removed and re-inserted the drive) about every 20-30 minutes or so, even if I wasn't even doing anything on the computer at all. By the time I couldn't put up with it anymore and contacted Lexar for a replacement (for which I am still waiting and have since replaced the drive with another manufacturer's product) it was not only doing that, and more frequently, but it would from time to time just disappear altogether, or be suddenly detected as a "removable disc" which needed formatting. Often I had to insert-remove-insert several times for it to act right.
Through out all this, it retained its sleek good looks and cool twist-out capabilities! Yet, my DATA (the REAL reason you buy these things, right?) was in constant peril.

Other Thoughts: I am in the process of having the drive replaced under warranty. I have no reason to expect that I will have the same issue, but I have to confess, it only takes once for something like this to happen for me to have less confidence in a product like this. Even if the replacement does work fine when I get it, I doubt I will use it for my more critical stuff.
And just in case anyone wonders, I did reformat the drive a few times (NTFS & FAT32, which made no difference), and I made sure to stop it before removing it and all that. I think I just got hold of a bad drive, that's all.
